BumpWatch: Ali Landry – Quiet on the Set!

Ali Landry may be in her final weeks of pregnancy, but she’s still hard at work!

The model and actress, 38, takes a break from filming her latest movie, Little Boy, on Tuesday in Mexico. She plays an expectant mother whose husband is away at war.

“Maternity clothes in the 1940′s,” Landry Tweeted, sharing a photo of herself in character. “We sure have come a long way!”

The film, starring Sean Astin, Kevin James and Emily Watson, will be released in 2012 and is directed by Landry’s husband Alejandro Monteverde.

Ellen Pompeo was all smiles while husband Chris Ivery tried to get a grip on squirmy daughter Stella Luna, 2, on Sunday at the Santa Monica Pier.

The Grey’s Anatomy star, 41, has been keeping busy at work, doling out advice to her pregnant costar Sarah Drew, who’s due in January.

“[Ellen]‘s got great advice about nannies and baby nurses and breastfeeding,” the actress reveals.

“She’s been through it all and she’s like a mama bear. She loves to take care of other people whenever they’re going through something new.”

Hugh Jackman’s Old-Fashioned Parenting Policy

Hugh Jackman may make his living on the big screen, but on weekdays, the actor’s home is a screen-free zone.

Jackman, 42, says he got the idea from a friend and implemented it for his kids Oscar, 11, and Ava, 6.

“A buddy of mine has a rule that I installed: No screens during the week. No TV, or computer, or anything like that,” says the actor.

For Jackman, who stars as a reluctant father and washed-up boxer in the movie Real Steel, opening Friday, the screen ban is less about avoiding the pitfalls of the media age then giving his kids a little downtime.

“Kids nowadays have very little time,” says Jackman.

Joined by All My Children costar Sarah Michelle Gellar, 90210 costar Tiffani Thiessen and Eastwick costars Rebecca Romijn, Jaime Ray Newman and Sara Rue, as well as her mother, the mom-to-be showed off her bump and opened her gifts.

Guests — who received invites designed by Tiny Prints — enjoyed treats such as truffle and artichoke risotto, banana crème brûlée, Nutella crêpes with burnt-bourbon caramel drizzle and a chocolate fountain.
