La La Anthony’s Acting Coach: Her 4-Year-Old Son

Reality star-turned-actress La La Vazquez Anthony — who made her theater debut this month in the off-Broadway play Love, Loss and What I Wore — says the best prep for a show is a preschooler.

“I rehearse with [Kiyan], which is really funny,” says Anthony, 32, of her 4½-year-old son with husband Carmelo Anthony of the New York Knicks.

“I tell him, ‘Listen to Mommy tell this story and tell me what you think.’”

Anthony told reporters at the X-Rated Fusion Liqueur after party following Tuesday’s show that her little boy even feeds her lines.

Ne-Yo Welcomes Son Mason Evan

Less than a year after the birth of daughter Madilyn Grace, Ne-Yo is a father again.

The singer-songwriter and Monyetta Shaw welcomed a son, Mason Evan, on Sunday, Oct. 9, his rep confirms to PEOPLE.

“Sal-u twit fam. If you are truly fam you’ll help me welcome the heir to my throne,” the proud papa Tweeted regarding the birth of his 6 lbs., 10 oz. baby boy.

“[Fatherhood] has been a ride, but I’m loving every minute of it,” Ne-Yo, 31, told PEOPLE in September.

His newest record, The Cracks in Mr. Perfect, is due out in 2012.

Hilary Duff Thinks Baby On the Way Is a Boy

Hilary Duff‘s bets are on a baby boy!

Expecting her first child with husband Mike Comrie this winter, the singer/actress is convinced the couple will be welcoming a son.

“I don’t care what I get, but every time I think about it or dream about it, I see a boy,” Duff, 24, tells MTV News.

When it comes to her family and friends, however, the mother-to-be admits they’re all thinking pink.

“Everyone else says it’s a girl, but I think it’s a boy,” she says.

“I’d be happy with a girl, but my sister’s like, ‘You can’t keep saying that because then when it’s a girl, everyone’s gonna be like, ‘You really wanted a boy!’”

Amy Adams carries daughter Aviana Olea, 17 months, through Coldwater Canyon while out and about with fiancé Darren Le Gallo on Sunday in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Jewel’s Body After Baby: Not So Mellow Yellow!

Proving yellow is her color, new mom Jewel made an appearance Wednesday on Today, three months after delivering son Kase Townes.

The singer/songwriter, 37, looked svelte as she discussed her new album of children’s songs, The Merry Goes ‘Round.

The record is actually Jewel’s second for children, and she describes it as a collection of daytime songs rather than lullabies.

“I listen to a lot of kids albums. … You kind of want to stab your ears out with pencils,” she told Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb.
