The trio munched on pasta and salad, plus 8-month-old Leo enjoyed a bottle. Cruz is currently filming her latest movie, Venuto al Mondo, with costar Emile Hirsch in Rome.

He’s adorable, but it’s a shame People has published them – especially with the link saying how Cruz and Bardem want to keep their son anonymous, they don’t want him being known to the public. As far as I know they didn’t even release the name, a friend said it by mistake.

Javier is not only a beautiful, soulful actor but looks as though he is a very loving father and husband. And I think Leo looks like his daddy. What a beautiful family.

While I admit to enjoying these pictures and agree that Leo is absolutely adorable, I find I need to ditto Lydia. While celebrities are in the public eye, if they request that their children be kept out of the public eye, we should respect that. I respectfully request that People refrain from posting pictures of this beautiful little guy until such time as Penelope and Javier give the green light.

Sorry folks but I respectfully disagree. Javier and Penelope seem like great people, but they are famous actors, not gods. They can’t order the press around and tell them not to take pictures when they are out in public. They have chosen very public professions, centered around their personas, so they can’t expect to snap their fingers and have absolute privacy unless they choose to live in seclusion.
What they CAN do is keep things low key and not show their son off in places full of paparazzi. So far they have done a good job. This is the first we have seen of their son. Johnny Depp has done it… so it’s their choice.
