Here’s the dish: mealtime with li’l ones can consist of pureed peas dripping from your hair as you dodge flying Cheerios. In other words, there’s only one person enjoying this process of “open wiiiiiide,” so anything that adds some pizzazz to the three times a day task is a welcomed relief. And InnoBaby’s products for “making mealtime fun” have answered the call. Check out our review of the collection below:

Things We Like:

From fishies on a stainless storage on-the-go cup to a bus shaped tray (above) with divided compartments for filling up with the five food groups, these BPA-free products are more than just adorable; they’re functional too. For keeping snacks fresh, we love the airtight, leak proof bento boxes. And the stackable Packin’ SMART containers are perfect if you’re taking multiple eats while out and about.

Things We Didn’t Like:

The bento box requires some skill to get the lid secured back on, so it’s far from ideal to pack in bigger kid’s lunches. Though the cup is easy to use, there are parts including a straw, protective sleeve, silicone disk to prevent leaks, an airtight ring and a removable tumbler that could get lost along the way.

Moms & Babies Rating:

Eco-friendly and oh-so cute, this is one set of dishes that you and your kids will eat up.

I wish this had a lid!

Making the tray bus shaped isn’t going to result in your kid thinking “I better not throw this food. It’s cuter than my usual plastic Cheerio bowl” lol

Thank you Megan. I was about to post the EXACT same thing as you.

Your toddler is not going to think it looks to neat to not throw at mom. It might make it more convenient this way.

Pssh… just a gimmick to get people to spend more money on stupid crap.

I love stainless steel trays!! So easy to wash. Too bad they didn’t have these available when my kids were toddlers.

I like the bus tray. I’d buy it.. but then again I’d buy it if it was a circle with lots of sections too! My 2yo loves to have all his food separated so he can choose what to eat next. We have plastic ones but only with 3 sections on each plate.

I don’t see 5 food groups……

I think it’s cute and I’d buy it if it wasn’t 18 bucks and if the serving sizes were better. I’m trying to make sure my toddler gets all his servings of fruits, veggies, protein, milk, and grain each day and if the individual sections were accurate this would be a wonderful invention and would make my life a tad easier

Tc
It gives you the option of filling up all 5 food groups. They didn’t say this plate had all 5.

Jillian I was pointing out the irony.

What I also mentioned was the serving sizes are wrong. If they want to try to tout this as a way to be healthy then they need to actually do that.

Are those chicken nuggets? That’s not healthy.

Jillian on

Tc, I thought the same thing as you when I saw this. Why mention the 5 groups and then not put them in there!!
Shannon, you can make or buy chicken nuggets that are not unhealthy! We do all the time.

I am not the same person who posted above, by the way. There are several people on here whose name pops up as Jillian (my name) and they all sign another name in their posts and say they are not Jillian. I wish this site would fix it bc ppl blame me for their posts some times. Anyway…..

So cute! That reminds me of Muffin Tin Meals.
