Keep an Eye on Baby with VueZone

How many times have you been sitting at your desk at work or out running errands and wondering what your kids are up to? Well, wonder no more with the VueZone Monitoring System ($200) — an innovative new system which allows you to monitor your home digitally.

Small, battery-powered cameras (sets come with one or two, but up to 15 can be used) can be easily mounted anywhere (the playroom, a child’s bedroom, etc.) you wish to keep an eye on. And once you’re set up, the motion-activated cameras transmits video wirelessly so you can check it online or via your smartphone.

Although the video is sometimes choppy, it’s good enough that you can see what’s going on at any given time. Note: There is no audio offered with this system, so it can’t really stand in for a regular baby monitor.

The VueZone may not be for everyone, but if leaving your little ones at home with others puts you on edge, it’s a great way to allay those fears. And for that reason alone, we think it’s worth a look.

If leaving your little ones at home with others leaves you “on edge”, you should re-think who you are leaving them home with.

I just purchased this system. I have two children, ages 4 mos and 2 years. Although I completely trust my sitter…it’s nice to be able to see as well as get reports from her. My babies are too young to tell me if something is off.
I literally set up the system in 5 min! I’m still working fixing my settings so they work perfectly for us…but everything about the entire system is super easy and user friendly. They even have little video tutorials on the site for you!
I did a lot of research before purchasing this system ( i have 2 motion activated and 1 regular camera) and I feel you get the most bang for your buck with vuezone. And let’s face it…how cool is it that you can check on your kids from your phone?!?!?
