Jahgoo: Modern Baby Bath Gear You’ll Love

Courtesy Jahgoo

Just because it’s for your kids doesn’t mean it shouldn’t fit your décor.

That’s the thinking behind Dutch-based Jahgoo‘s new line ($10 to $30) of mini potties, step stools, tubs and more.

“As a parent, you simply seem to tolerate all of these primary colors and blocky shapes around the house,” says the company’s founder Hans Pompen.

“Why can’t baby stuff be highly functional and elegantly or cleverly designed? As a new generation has kids, there’s a call for hip, design-conscious baby gear. And it doesn’t have to be outrageously expensive!”

Thankfully, Pompen stays true to his word.

Each product from the collection features a cool, ergonomic shape and is available in four soft colors (white, pink, green and blue) so they’ll work whatever your taste.

I can’t name a single parent who complains about “gee, my kids’ potty / step stood / baby tub isn’t cool looking and matching with our furniture.” I think that’s reaching

Actually, we just updated the info website and these products are on sale at retailers such as Amazon.com, allmodern.com, etc. A quick search will bring up loads of stores that carry these products.

What’s funny to me is that you can’t really even see the products in this pic. And I agree that finding an elegantly designed plastic potty is not something that concerns me. I just need something that will keep my boys’ pee from flying over the top, which happened with a number of different potties we tried.

grace2 try having him sit all the way back on a big potty, where his back is touching the back of the toilet OR have him sit backwards on the edge of the potty either way he is naturally pointing down and it doesn’t get anywhere. I’ve got a newly turned 2yr old boy and that’s what we do so that it doesn’t get everywhere, I never even bothered with the kiddie potties.

cutest photo ever

I would never worry about the design. The ones in walmart or ikea are cute too…

I wouldn’t even know what to do with one of these — my kid just always used the regular toilet.

Grace… two words… BABY BJORN… best potty chairs EVER… and even girls need the deflectors sometimes (when they are too excited about something, talking up a storm, and forget to keep those legs together)

That’s a distasteful photo. I’d rather see the toilet bowl without the kid on it. A week ago there were 2 kids happily walking along a park with a portable toilet seat.

Really bad picture. They could have just shown the potty chair. No resaon to show a small girl on a potty. Distasteful.

I have one of these potties and absolutely love it. I highly recommend the whole Jahgoo line.
