Ne-Yo Welcomes Son Mason Evan

Less than a year after the birth of daughter Madilyn Grace, Ne-Yo is a father again.

The singer-songwriter and Monyetta Shaw welcomed a son, Mason Evan, on Sunday, Oct. 9, his rep confirms to PEOPLE.

“Sal-u twit fam. If you are truly fam you’ll help me welcome the heir to my throne,” the proud papa Tweeted regarding the birth of his 6 lbs., 10 oz. baby boy.

“[Fatherhood] has been a ride, but I’m loving every minute of it,” Ne-Yo, 31, told PEOPLE in September.

His newest record, The Cracks in Mr. Perfect, is due out in 2012.

My sister and I were only 11 months apart, and we were always close, played together and really were a lot like twins. My kids are 25 months apart and same thing; very close, loved sharing a room, and enjoyed playing together even though they had very different personalities. Congrats! They are in for a busy next few years, but fun ones, too!

My middle child is 11 months younger than her brother & my youngest is 11 months younger than her.

Guinny- I really don’t think that’s how it works. Karma doesn’t work like that just because you say its so. All four of my kids are married and waited to have babies until they were all financially stable and prepared and did I mention MARRIED? I did not distinguish in my post between a race or anything so you have no right to say what you said.

Also, I am not racist and would welcome any race into my family. I have a daughter-in-law who is Korean and love her as she was my own flesh and blood.
