Time to get a baby seat for the crazy train.

Less than two weeks after confirming his engagement, Jack Osbourne, 25, announced that he’s going to be a father.

“I’m excited. I’m a little nervous,” the son of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne said Tuesday on Piers Morgan Tonight.

It’ll be the first child for Osbourne and his fiancée, actress Lisa Stelly, who gushed about her future husband when announcing their engagement.

“The most amazing man I’ve ever met asked me to marry him….and he wasn’t joking!” Stelly, 26, Tweeted last month. “Crazy, right? :).”

Even crazier? Grandpa Ozzy. Welcome to the family, baby Osbourne-to-be!

Figured that was the case after the super fast engagement, but congratulations to them! And it’s weird to think of Ozzy as a grandfather.

Mia on

Makes sense-hope it works + Congrats!

Micheley on

Aww Congrats. I can’t wait to hear Sharon brag about her grandchild.

btw, this will be Ozzy’s 5th grandchild. :)

Rachel on

Aw, well congrats to them!

And yes, what Micheley said — while this will be the first grandbaby for Sharon, it is not Ozzy’s first :)

Angi on

I officially feel old. I remember him being a teen. Crazy how fast time moves. Congrats to Jack and his fiancée.

Hea on

Congrats to them! I bet Sharon is over the moon. ;-)

Mermaid on

He seems too young to be a father at 25. Whoever this girl is, I bet she got pregnant on purpose by missing the pill, got Jack to propose, and now she’s set for 18 years of child support. She’s set for life with the Osbourne trust fund.

auroramia on

I remember when Jack was born! Congratulations!!

CCT0303 on

mermaid just because those are your intentions with possibly every man you come across, doesn’t mean that was her purpose.. And I highly doubt he is Donald Trump rich besides the money that his parents have to offer!!!

Dee on

Good heavens Mermaid, who spit in your coffee this morning. There is nothing young about being 25 and a parent. He is an adult. Actually the law states that at 18 you are an adult so I think he is more than able to figure things out on his own.

As for his fiancee, nasty much. Can you not just wish them happiness and move on????

Anyways, Congrats to Jack…that grandbaby is going to be spoiled rotten by grandma for sure :)

Hea on

@ Mermaid – I’m sorry that didn’t work out for you.

TC on

Wow, I missed the engagement announcement so this comes out of left field to me but congrats! I bet Sharon is excited :)

emily on

Mermaid- 25 is not young to be a parent. Seems a strange thing to say since after the mid/late 20’s in women fertility steadily drops. Why spew venom on a couple who are literally strangers to you? Get a life.

Anya on

I hope it’s a girl – for many reasons

Julianna Rosas Lago on

I can’t help but crack up at the thought of Sharon as a grandma – I think she’s hilarious. Congratulations to Jack and his girl on the engagement and the baby!

Lissette on

Well that’s no surprise after 3 months of dating and then a proposal. Wow.

I was just waiting for the baby out of wedlock announcement to come.

How about next time you practice safe sex and be smart about it….

Well I don’t think they should bother with a wedding because rushing a relationship to a step its not ready for just because of a baby won’t last. I have seen it many, many times.

Its just inevitable. Soon those two will be estranged and it will turn into a giant drama mess… Oh wait, that could make the next Osbourne reality show.

Jana on

Oh boy another Osbourne coming into this world…Congrats Jack!

emily on

Lissette, tell that to my parents, who got pregnant and married within a month right out of highschool. 4 kids and 40 years later, they’re still happily married. Look around you. Married couples have babies and divorce every single day.

Sweeping generalizations coupled with the audacity of imposing your personal beliefs on other people don’t make for a compelling argument.

Lissette on

Emily-

And your parents are examples of normal everyday people. Look at the statistics amongst celebrities. Its not good.

I just don’t see this relationship lasting much longer than after the baby is born. But regardless, this woman and baby will be set for life that’s for sure.

Holiday on

Mermaid the man is 25 not 15! Exactly what age is old enough by your standards to have a baby? He can obviously support the baby financially which is the argument against younger parents a lot of times. My husband and I were both 22 when our son was born and 26 when our daughter was born and we are so thankful to have been able to have our kids in our younger years, would not have changed it for anything. We are still young at 27 and our kids are happy and so are we!

Shannon on

This relationship won’t end well but good luck with the baby.

Calais on

Wow, some of you people astonish me.

Who cares about having a baby out of wedlock, who cares how long they have been together. Clearly they are happy and hopefully everything works out for them.

I have 3 children and I am not married and i dont plan to be. i have been with my partner 7 years and i fell pregnant at 22 after being with him for a little over a month.

Just because someone has a baby out of wedlock doesnt make a baby any less of a blessing. They are adults, they will sort it all out.

Congrats Jack and Stelly.

Reese on

Lissette, you seem quite confident for not knowing the couple. Their life doesn’t affect you in any way so judging a situation you know nothing about is simply foolish. Focus that energy elsewhere.

Hea on

Well I’m glad to see there’s hope amongst people today. Gee…

Boricua on

@ Mermaid don’t be jealous! And if you can’t say anything nice then don’t comment because no one wants to hear what you have to say.

Boricua on

Holiday I could not have said it better myself…..Right on sista!!!

Unspoken on

What’s the big deal????? They’re having a baby, they’re engaged. Who cares if it lasts or doesn’t last. As long as they’re happy that’s all that matters. It’s no one’s business what they do. I wish them all the best.

Seanaci on

I’m so excited for the Osbourne family.

Also, this is not Sharon’s 1st grandchild (as far as I’m aware). Amy is her daughter (as far as I know)…and she just chose not to participate in the show when it was on.

Jackie on

Congratulations to both of them!! I don’t know why people would say they are to young, I was 19 with my 1st, 23 with my 2nd and 25 with my 3rd child and have been with my husband for almost 20 years. I am glad I started my family when I did, it gives me that many more years to enjoy them. I personally wouldn’t have wanted to wait until I was 30 before I started having kids. Wish them all the best!!

Michele on

@CCT0303 – I second your comment to Mermaid. What is wrong with these people?

JLP on

Just crazy that Jack Osbourne is going to be a dad….very exciting!

As for the negative people saying she probably tricked him….thats just cruel. And as for his money, I’m sure his mom and lawyers will make sure some sort of prenup is in place and stuff for the child, just in case.

opal on

Who cares how or how old the parents are, as long as the baby and Mom are healthy and happy

Jen on

@Seanaci: I think they’re referring to Jessica and Louis, Ozzy’s children from a pervious marriage. Not Amy.
