While taking a break from filming One Shot, Tom Cruise takes his little fashionista, daughter Suri, for a merry-go-round ride Saturday in Pittsburgh.

We’ve spotted the 5-year-old out and about with mom Katie Holmes, lugging art supplies and dressed as a ladybug, but this is the first time we’ve seen her out with Dad!

“It’s hard to describe — that level of responsibility, the desire to give such joy,” the actor, 49, says of becoming a dad.

“[And] the clarity: Nothing is more important than this.”

Well Nora, it was a Saturday! She is only 5 years old, so she would only be in pre-school maybe kindergarten. Not all children attend those.Plus, she may be tutored as lots of children of celebrities are due to travel. Would you rather they left her home with a nanny?

It looks like they were having a fun day at the park, though I live in Pittsburgh and can’t place where that merry go round is located.

Ok, I’m not one to say anything negative about ANY celeb or their children………BUT………I can’t stand Tom, and I really wish people would stop refering to her as a little fashionista. Suri is a very wealthy and very well knowen child, most likley the biggest in the world. But she is 5, she is suppose to be a CHILD, not Tom’s little Barbie Doll.

Rant over, I’m sorry if I offended anyone by saying that but I can’t stand poor Suri’s father and I truly do feel so sorry for her.

Do you know Tom Cruise personally? Why such hate?

I don’t know him or any other celebrity personally but he seems like a pretty good father. All of his children appear to be close to him. He talks about them in such loving terms. The older children seem like nice, clean cut kids. They even seem close to their stepmother. I’m not a fan of Scientology but everyone is entitled to their beliefs.

@ HappyGoLucky.. I didn’t say anything about HIS personal beliefs at all (Scientology) I just don’t like his acting or the movies he has been in. I also don’t like people with massive egos, and he among other celebs have big egos. I do agree with you in the fact that his kids seem to be pretty “clean cut kids”, they seem very well behaved and proud and I know Tom is very proud. But I feel sorry for Suri because she is spoiled rotten. I’m not saying this is deffinetly going to happen but the majority of kids that receive that “golden platter” lifestyle tend to fall off that straight path later in life (mainly early to mid 20′s)

I know Tom isn’t the only person in the world that raises their kids this way, nearly every celeb does. I have 3 kids and a step daughter, no matter how much money we have the kids will learn to respect the value of a dollar and have to work for the luxurys in life. Just like I did….I just believe Tom overdoes it by a long shot.

This is a staged photo op. Suri is hardly seen with her father. She’s always with Katie. I feel bad that Suri has to grow up with the brainwashing cult of Scientology. Hopefully she can break free when she turns 18.

this was real, i saw them, we got married that day and were taking pics in the same park. Tom said look there’s a bride, look how pretty. And then said congratulations to us. Katie walked by us and i asked her to take a pic, she said this day’s really about the 2 of you but congrats.
