Ali Landry may be in her final weeks of pregnancy, but she’s still hard at work!

The model and actress, 38, takes a break from filming her latest movie, Little Boy, on Tuesday in Mexico. She plays an expectant mother whose husband is away at war.

“Maternity clothes in the 1940′s,” Landry Tweeted, sharing a photo of herself in character. “We sure have come a long way!”

The film, starring Sean Astin, Kevin James and Emily Watson, will be released in 2012 and is directed by Landry’s husband Alejandro Monteverde.

Call me nuts, but I would rather see a woman wearing this, than flaunting her belly in a bikini at 9 months pregnant.
