Look for Less: Jennifer Garner’s Relaxed Chic

10/04/2011 at 10:00 AM ET

First, she wowed us with her red-hot one-shoulder ensemble.

Then, she impressed us with her chic business-like attire.

But clearly, Jennifer Garner also knows how to work her maternity style for casual outings too.

On Sept. 19, the actress stepped out to run errands in L.A. wearing a gray tunic top, Citizens of Humanity‘s Avedon Slick Skinny Maternity Jeans ($196), black ballet flats, a scarf and sunglasses.

Love Garner’s laid-back polish? You’re in luck. We’ve rounded up similar items — all under $60!

Can I just say how incredibly disturbing it is to see a pair of maternity jeans being advertised with the model wearing high heels?

I’ve always heard that women shouldn’t wear heels while pregnant. I’m not familiar with this – is the only risk of falling? Are there other risks to wearing heels while pregnant? I don’t know; I’ve never been pregnant.

when you become pregnant your balance is thrown off and wearing heels is not the safest. that being said, i think if you will be sitting for most of the time a small heel is ok if the person is comfortable. towards the end, your feet can become swollen and pretty much anything but slippers is uncomfortable.

agree on the heels thing. My feet were so sore and swollen at the end, that it was all I could do to shove them into anything. Then, after you have a baby, often times you wear a bigger shoe size! I used to be a 9, now I am a 9 1/2/10!

Anyway….Jen looks great as usual…so natural.

Maybe not that high? And if you are high heel clumsy, like myself, not ever!

I loved full panel maternity bottoms. They are so much more comfy.

I’m with you Maryanne, not ever for me as well!

I like Jen’s lacy panel top better than the Pea in the Pod one here. Love the jeans!

I wore heels all 9months with both my boys. I do not like flat shoes.. But … To each there own:)) Jen looks GREAT!

I usually like what she wears, but I think those jeans are unflattering on her thighs.
