Sarah Michelle Gellar: Family Always Comes First

Sarah Michelle Gellar isn’t afraid to take a stand for the sake of her family.

Returning to television for the first time since welcoming Charlotte Grace, 2 this month, Gellar takes on the role of both actress and co-executive producer in her latest series, Ringer.

“My family comes first and you have to be in charge to protect that,” she tells the Los Angeles Times. “You have to be the one who says no or you don’t have a life, which is what I found out the first time.”

Fortunately, Gellar — who catches up on her sleep during her lunch hour and has installed a nursery on set — finds herself among a cast and crew that understand her priorities.

While most of New York’s fashion elite hit up Fashion Week shows and festivities, the city’s littlest fashionistas attended the glamourous opening of Bonpoint‘s newest Madison Avenue store Monday night.

Spotted: Selma Blair Snuggles with Her Son

After premiering her new movie Dark Horse at the Venice Film Festival the day prior, Selma Blair cuddles up to 6-week-old sleepy son Arthur Saint in between press events Tuesday.

“He’s such an easy newborn. He’s really lovely,” the actress, 39, tells the Associated Press.

“He had a bit of a tummy-ache last night, I felt horrible. It was a tough trip over here from L.A. – it was 15 hours. It was a lot.”

Arthur is Blair’s first child with her boyfriend, fashion designer Jason Bleick.

Spotted: Leelee Sobieski and Lewi’s Labor Day Lift

Louisanna Ray Kimmel, 20 months, gets a taste of the air up there while out for a walk in Tribeca with parents Leelee Sobieski and Adam Kimmel on Monday in New York City.

Sobieski, 28, tells PEOPLE that she ”really wants to encourage the reading and the playing” with daughter Lewi.

“A lot of kids now in New York I see can open an iPhone before they can even walk practically. [They do] the finger slide.”
