Looks like the hair hassles have been handled!

Constance Marie gives daughter Luna Marie, 2½, a squeeze at Britax and Buick’s The Red CARpet Safety Event presented by SpokesMoms, held Saturday at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif.

The actress, 46, stars on ABC Family’s Switched at Birth, a role for which she learned how to sign.

“It’s really hard. It breaks my heart as much as it breaks her heart. I tell her I understand and it’s just the hours are very long because I’m a woman of a certain age, so the hair and make-up does take longer than it used to,” Marie joked recently to PEOPLE.
