Review: Hygeia Enjoye Breast Pump

Courtesy Hygeia Baby

Breastfeeding and pumping don’t necessarily go hand in hand, but for moms who work or often travel, finding a good pump is a necessity. Our current fave is the Hygeia Enjoye Breast Pump ($320). Easy-to-use and requiring minimal time and effort, it’s the answer to pleasant pumping (well, as pleasant as pumping can be!), which is music to any mom’s ears.

Check out our review below!

Things We Like:

By any means, this isn’t your standard breast pump. The Enjoye is well, a joy. It has a number of unique features that make it stand out from the rest including the Hygeia CARE button, which allows you to record five-seconds of your baby’s sounds (cooing or crying) to help make the pumping experience easier.

Designed to be eco-friendly, the pump is sharable with a separate accessory set so you can hand it down or sell it when you’re done using it. The company will also take it off your hands to recycle so it doesn’t end up in a landfill. And if you’re not completely satisfied, you can return it — a rare privilege in the pumping world.

It’s also great for on-the-go. The battery is rechargeable one, so you can use it anytime, anywhere. And like other good breast pumps, the Hygeia allows for customized suction control to get milk flowing sooner and faster. Another time saver? The double suction cups.

Best part. It comes with a lightweight carrying tote, a cooler pack for transporting pumped milk and a changing pad for quick diaper changes.

Things We Didn’t Like:

As you can tell, not much. They really did think of everything an on-the-go breastfeeding mom could need.

Moms & Babies Rating:

We love anything that makes life easier for a pumping mom. And we love anything that keeps our planet safe. And since the Hygeia Enjoye Breast Pump does both, it’s tops on our list.

Pardon if this is a stupid question – but does the cooler pack come with its own ice packs? Thanks!

The Hygeia is one of the best pumps on the market right now, and is currently the only company that is also WHO Code compliant! Yay!

@April Yes – the cooler pack comes with an ice pack! :)

I am using my Enjoy pump now with my 2nd child who is 4 months old.It works great!. I used it with my 1st child for 7 months.I never thought I would enjoy pumping but this pump has made it so easy. Thanks Hygeia.

I can think of one dislike…the price! Ick! For normal moms $400 for a breastpump is a bit too much. I bought my medela 7 years ago for less than $200 and it’s still going strong with baby #4

Another small complaint- the record button would be a great feature IF it was not so easy to accidentally record over it! I would record my baby’s sounds and the button would get pushed while the pump was in my bag. I recorded random conversations all the time. It ended up being a feature I couldn’t rely on.

I purchased this pump about a year and half ago. I loved it.

I’m finished with nursing now, and thanks to this economy I doubt that I will have an opportunity to use it again!

I’m happy with my Medela PISA.

Mom Said It

"I've always wanted more children and [I] had to make a decision: Do I wait to find the right partner or do it on my own? I was open to either gender and started the process two years ago."
