A newly single Jennifer Lopez puts family first, taking 3-year-old twins Emme Maribel and Max David (not pictured) to a local park in Atlanta, Ga., where she is filming What to Expect When You’re Expecting, on Sunday.

“Sometimes we don’t realize that we are compromising ourselves. To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way …. I love myself enough to walk away from that now,” the singer, actress and American Idol judge, 42, tells Vanity Fair.

“I will always respect Marc as a singer and performer. He will always be in our lives. He will always hold a special place in my heart as the father of my children.”

Marla Sokoloff Expecting First Child

Practice makes perfect.

Marla Sokoloff and husband Alec Puro are expecting their first child early next year, her manager confirms to PEOPLE.

The actress, 30, does not yet know the sex of her baby on the way.

Sokoloff, best known for her roles on The Practice and Full House, married composer Puro, 36, in Nov. 2009.

January Jones goes for an unintentional jog — belly and all! — while out on the beach Sunday in Malibu.

The Mad Men star’s pup had spotted a seagull and taken off — leaving his very pregnant owner to run after him!

“We don’t have [Dairy Queen] in L.A., but I was just home visiting my family in the Midwest and I went, literally, every day,” Jones, 33, said recently.

“I made my dad take me. Pregnant or not, I love Dairy Queen. I usually get a cherry-dipped cone.”

The actress is due with her first child, a delivery surprise, in early fall.

Alexis Knapp’s Baby Carries Ryan Phillippe’s Name

It’s still a mystery whether or not Ryan Phillippe is the father of ex-girlfriend Alexis Knapp‘s newborn daughter. But if the last name listed on the birth certificate of the baby girl is any indication, it’s likely Phillippe is indeed the dad.

The child, born on July 1, is named Kailani Merizalde Phillippe Knapp. Given the same middle name as her mom, 21, half of the last name is shared with Reese Witherspoon‘s ex-husband, 36.

Although Phillippe is included as part of the last name, the section of the certificate that officially lists the baby’s father is left blank.

Phillippe has yet to comment on matters, but he was by Knapp’s side in the hospital for the delivery.

Spotted: Edie Falco and Kids Hit the Hamptons

Edie Falco poses with her two children — son Anderson, 7½, and daughter Macy, 3½ — at Super Saturday 14, held at Nova’s Arl Project in Watermill, N.Y. over the weekend.

The event benefitted the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.

“I’m just not one of those people who thought having biological children was that important,” the Nurse Jackie star, 48, says.

“To me it was more about wanting to raise a child.”

Jason Momoa: No Conan the Barbarian for My Kids

Jason Momoa‘s son Nakoa-Wolf is only 2½, but the toddler is already taking after his action star dad.

“My son loves swords and shields and dragons,” the Conan the Barbarian star told reporters at a press event for the film at San Diego Comic-Con. “So he loves the Conan stuff … he just grabs sticks and [makes swords].”

Nakoa-Wolf is Momoa’s second child with actress Lisa Bonet. Their daughter, Lola Iolani, turned 4 last month.

“They love the action figures,” Momoa, who is also on HBO’s Game of Thrones, says of his kids.

Unfortunately for the duo, the plastic dolls may be as close as they get to experiencing Dad’s version of Conan for quite some time.
