“We had a great time. We went to our place in Lake Tahoe, spent a lot of time on the lake,” the Melissa & Joey star, 35, tells PEOPLE of the family’s summer.

“We’ve been spending a lot of time in Connecticut, just low key.”

Melissa looks great. Such a shame that people look at a beautiful family photo and comment about the weight of a person and the fact that she put some on. It is very disturbing. There have been several celebrities that have spoken out about how hurtful these comments are……I hope that Melissa knows people are just rude.

Capri – no one says that she looks bad, they just noticed that she’s gained a little weight. We’ve loved and been fans of hers for years so we notice everything. And she always looks beautiful.

@ capri i didn’t mean anything rude. but she was on the cover of people magazine after she lost weight. she did say she felt good after she lost the weight because she worked with a nutritionist and trainer. “I realized I didn’t have to be heavy just because I have kids.” “I feel amazing!” she says. “I had to prove to myself that I could do it. I had to give it a go!”

and because u asked…i weight 106lbs.

My friends and I have been with each other through diets, thyroid issues, weddings, breakups, babies and breastfeeding and yes, we talk about all the weight gain and loss that goes with each of those life events. And have swapped around pants and dresses as we gain and lose. Is it a part of life for a lot of women and no one is nasty about it.
