I cannot believe the gall of Sloan Briles to throw a small child overboard into unsafe waters! Who knows what could have been in the water, maybe a shark or something! And the lame excuse Sloan Briles is saying–that he and the child were having fun. Let me tell you a child that is having fun is not a crying child! I hope the mother kicks this awful father to the curb and gets counseling for the child because I know he is traumatized by the whole experience. Thank goodness a boater was nearby and quickly rescued the child before things turned deadly. Oh and yes, I hope the local DA files as many charges and the judge throws the book. A parent that does this one time will do it again.

The story of the man throwing his little boy overboard is just sickening. But honestly? What the heck is up with people in this country that we just stand by and let this crap happen!?! If all of those calls were made and all of those people noticed him being “drunk and violent” BEFORE the child was thrown from the boat then why did not ONE of them step in and intervene. I know it’s hard to know when to say something or do something, but seriously? This child could have easily drowned or been injured by the boat. The human race needs to step up!
