Denise Richards Shops at Bonpoint with Her Girls

Humberto Carreno/Startraks

Now that there are three girls in the family, Denise Richards has even more reason to shop for beautiful mini fall fashions.

So during a recent visit to New York, the actress and author made sure to stop by the newly opened Maison Bonpoint boutique with older daughters Sam, 7, and Lola Rose, 6.

Inspired by the company’s flagship store in Paris, the boutique features glass verandas lacquered in black, recycled factory tiles and an oversize fireplace, which offsets the romantic décor (antique furniture, tasseled lamps and soft colors).

While there, Richards picked up a few chic pieces for her older girls. She also stocked up on a couple of styles for 9-week-old Eloise Joni, including a grey cardigan, white blouse and cropped black pants.

The new mom isn’t the only celeb fan of Bonpoint. Angelina Jolie also loves their well-designed kids clothing. To see the company’s full fall collection, go to bonpoint.com.

Sam and Lola are getting so big … Denise has a beautiful family.

So the photographer was in the store with them? Let’s hope denise got some free clothes for the advertising. I’m always impressed with Bonpoint’s PR machine.

Typical of her hamming it up for the camera. She probably called the paps herself.

How typical of her. She probably called the paps herself.

I thought she was always complaining about the paparazzi following them and interrupting their private moments. Now all of a sudden she’s okay when a photographer being in the store with them, taking pictures of them while their shopping. Hmmm. . .

Denise is pretty. The pics are definitely staged but who cares?

- Shannon on

I also think these shots are staged. For that her girls are not really looking like dressing from Bonpoint.

In a way, I can understand it if she did call the paps for the photos…then, she is in control of them getting some shots and they aren’t trying to do it from the windows of the store…but, who knows, maybe they still are. I think she seems like a great mom and her girls are adorable!

Clothes are cheaper at Target or WalMart but she wanted the photogs there no doubt.

The photos are by Startraks which usually does staged photos (many of Tori Spelling’s family photos are from Startraks, for example her kids birthday parties). So I don’t think it’s any secret these photos are staged to advertise Bonpoint (the write up kind of gives it away, anyway). Denise didn’t “call the paparazzi”.

Here are the rest of the photos, if anyone’s interested:

And just to show it isn’t only Denise who takes part in “candid” advertising photos, here’s Brooke Burke posing with Rain to promote the LeapFrog:

I can’t stand her anymore. What is her goal in life-shopping?

Ugh so tacky, it’s pimpin’ out your kids for money. IMO.

I have question for all of you angry and bitter women….

if you weer in Target, say in the toy department with your child and a representative from Fisher Price was there and came up to you and said…”You have a beautiful child, we are taking photos using customers children for a Christmas Campaign Ad…if you sign this waiver and allow us to photograph your child with our product, not only will we give your child the product, but we will give you a $500.00 Target giftcard as well as a Fisher Price voucher good for $500.00 in free toys.”

I find it *VERY* hard to believe that any of you would turn down over $1000.00 (two giftcards and the toy they pose with) in free goodies.

Why should be expect celebrities to turn it down either….Not all celebrities are loaded …they have to pay taxes, mortgage, insurance, utilities, etc like all the rest of us. Unless you are a Pitt/Jolie and make huge numbers at the boxoffice, your career has highs and lows.

I don’t see it as pimping out their kids… their kids are beautiful and all of us here *LIKE* to see their pictures or we wouldn’t be on this site, now would we? Sometimes I read these nasty, catty comments and all I can think of is…”Wow, jealous much?”

- Shea on

Also… @ AVERAGEMOM….I guess I must have the same goal in life. I am a stay at home mommy, while my oldest two are in school my younger two and I spend the day at playgroups, meeting friends for lunch/playdates and meeting friends at the mall to shop. I shop 2 or 3 times a week, sometimes more… Does this make me a bad person with no quality of life as you seem to be imply she is because she is spotted shopping so often?
Again it sounds like you are jealous she is able to shop. Don’t you people care how your comments make you look to others? Man, life is too short to be so bitter and hateful.

- Shea on

I don’t believe the pap followed her or were called……this is most likely press or the company. I see nothing wrong with this. I am confused t the issue as this is similar to a ad, commercial, etc. Celebs put their children on tv shows…..aka the Spellings. So to me, this is much better.

For those feeling the kids are being “pimped” then you must feel the same about the Spelling children, Duggars, Gosselins and all reality children who have their private lives on tv. Right? Those kids are actively being “pimped” bc without them there wouldn’t be a show.
