Sarah Michelle Gellar keeps her precious cargo — her bag and 22-month-old Charlotte Grace — close during an Los Angeles, Calif. outing on Sunday.

Keeping her family her first priority is important for the Ringer star.

“I want to be there for [Charlotte's] first day of school and her school recital,” the actress, 34, told PEOPLE of her daughter with husband Freddie Prinze, Jr.

“Television offers me that — they’re amazing at working around schedules. All of the big milestones I’m there for.”

Charlotte is a cutie,she looks so much like her dad with some of mom’s features which will probably be more noticeable as she gets older. I was always rooting for SMG & Freddie as a couple and I’m so happy for them that they have lasted all these years despite hollywood, and now have adorable little Charlotte!

@Anonymous, I’m not taking things to any “level.” I just don’t appreciate ignorant stereotypes. One does not “look Jewish”, as Judaism is a religion, not a race. My family has natural blondes, brunettes, and even a few redheads thrown in. Some are light, some are dark skinned. If you go to Israel, you will see many Jewish men and woman who are blonde with light eyes. Freaking educate yourself before you call someone’s post “ugly and mean.”

RKF — um, Jewish is a religion AND a race. And traditionally, people who have Jewish RACIAL lineage have dark hair and eyes and olive completions. Maybe use some of that ridiculous angry energy to brush up on your world history?

Soph, wow. I don’t understand how I was getting in a ‘dig.’ Here was my first comment:

Soph, It would be hilarious to see how long we can keep this up…maybe it can be like November and we are still going back and forth on here…she said, I said….all on SMG and her baby Charlottes picture/post! Excuse me? Soph, I was reading your posts and I was tending to side with you…but after that…perhaps Anonymous is correct! And no…I didn’t write that about Charlotte to tell you that. I have always been a SMG fan and was excited to see this photo. And after skimming through the posts, I saw yours and Anon’s and was kind of suprised by the “digs”..as you put it. But, overall- thought you made some good points. Now….um, not so sure.
