Katie Holmes and daughter Suri — sporting a little white handbag and stroller and doll combo — make for a lovely sight in Los Angeles on Saturday.

On Monday, the actress, 32, was spotted in New York City after a summer in Miami, posing with fans as she promotes Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark, her new horror flick in theaters Aug. 26.

Ewa, I’m not sure if “forced” is the right word but yes, Tom calls her Kate. I’ve never heard anyone else call her that, though. Every interview, article or television interview I’ve ever seen refers to her as Katie.

Awww what a cute pic! Suri looks adorable, when my niece was her age she used to love to play mommy to her dolls, it was cute. I also heard Tom refers to Katie as Kate, because it sounds more grown up and mature, that’s what I read in a few articles, but it could be just a rumor.
