Ali Landry cradles her bump — with some help from pal and event host Holly Robinson Peete — while posing for a photo during Michaels Family Craft Night and The Knack launch luncheon at Fig & Olive in West Hollywood, Calif. on Thursday.

Expecting her second child in October, Landry, 38, has plenty of time to prepare these days as Estela Ines, 4, is “living it up” on vacation in Louisiana.

“I have to say, ‘I’m going to come and get you if you don’t talk to me on the phone!’” the model told PEOPLE of her daughter with husband Alejandro Monteverde.

When I was pregnant, I didn’t like people who would just walk up and felt like they had the right to touch my tummy. Made me feel very uncomfortable.

Awkward knees? Now I’ve heard everything from the crazy women on this site.

What the heck has to be wrong with you in your life for someone to say something like “awkward knees?” Who would even THINK that, much less POST it? Who looks at a photo and thinks, “Hmmm… their knees are really odd. I’m going to mention that online and see if anyone agrees with my assessment of their knees.”

I always think it is totally sweet when someone rubs my belly. It’s like they are giving love to the baby. It’s meant to be a nice gesture so I don’t understand those who get annoyed or offendend by someone trying to be nice.
