Spotted: Jennifer Lopez and Emme – Spitting Image

A newly single Jennifer Lopez puts family first, taking 3-year-old twins Emme Maribel and Max David (not pictured) to a local park in Atlanta, Ga., where she is filming What to Expect When You’re Expecting, on Sunday.

“Sometimes we don’t realize that we are compromising ourselves. To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way …. I love myself enough to walk away from that now,” the singer, actress and American Idol judge, 42, tells Vanity Fair.

“I will always respect Marc as a singer and performer. He will always be in our lives. He will always hold a special place in my heart as the father of my children.”

Emme is probably going to grow up with people telling her “how much she looks like her father” and how she doesn’t live up to Jennifer Lopez’s looks( i mean wasn’t she most beautiful woman alive at some point?). I hope Jlo keeps her daughter feeling beautiful with solid confidence(not ego) because the scrutiny will probably only get worse as she ages.

None of the posters were being mean about her looks. I think she’s cute, but this picture is not a very good one of Emme. The posters weren’t saying “OMG what a fugly kid” they just said she looks like a man, which is true in this picture.

Oh look, the flawless looking posters are commenting on the physical appearance of toddlers again and pretending like they’re just sharing their opinions. I really wonder what goes on in the mind of a person who thinks it’s ok to say a 3 yr. old girl looks like a man. Your “opinion” says so much about who you are as a person.

I think she is a beautiful little girl. Please tell me what make her look like a man? Clearly I must be missing something. So sick of seeing people putting down kids looks on here. I know everyone is entitled to an opinion but there are ways to say things without sounding like you’re 5. Just an observation!

Beautiful mother and daughter! I must not the same thing like most of you other posters but I think she’s adorable. While I would agree that her father is not the most attractive man and I do see some of his features in her, she’s still a gorgeous little girl.

Thank you Mariel, well said! I want to say kudos to Jennifer Lopez for speaking out in an honest yet classy way. I wish her the best and am saddened by their breakup. Folks can’t always make it work as a couple, but I have, and for that I’m extremely grateful. We don’t have children though

I think this little girl looks exactly like Jennifer’s family – more specifically Jennifer’s mom, Lupe. Emme is the spitting image of her maternal grandmother. Jennifer’s sisters also look like Lupe, while Jennifer looks more like her Dad, David. I don’t think that Emme looks anything like her Marc, which is a huge relief for her. I agree with Indira, I also don’t know how Marc gets these women. Jennifer took a HUGE risk having kids with him, good thing she dodged that bullet.

JLO LO LO – doesn’t liek to be married, she likes to be 42 and still dressing like Brittney Spears. Of course her husband was keeping her from being herself. Maybe he though marriage would be just that and having a family would be just that, like mom actually acting like amom.

You wonder why Ben ended up with Jennifer Garner – because he saw an actual future with a mature woman who would be a MOTHER. JLO has a lot of growing up to do if she ever wants to find real love.

Kim, in what way does JLo not act like a mother? She’s right here in this picture holding her child in front of a jungle gym. I understand not liking her style, but you have no idea what kind of mother she is. What a ridiculous comment to make.

Oh by the way, I love Ben/Jen as much as the next person but you do realize that she was very pregnant when they got married, right? She also still acts and attends events. So I would think twice before comparing the two Jennifers as if one is soooo much better than the other.

Emme looks like jen end of story stop being evil, and @capri when your 42 and you have a rockin body like hers you rock what you can rock and honey (This is J.LO ms. lopez and she can wear anything) after having twins and all.
