Jessica Alba, who is now expecting her second child, says she never quite lost all the baby weight from her first.
“I can’t ever get down to the weight I was before I had Honor,” the actress, 30, tells the August issue of Allure.
“My body’s just different. The jeans just sort of zip up differently, and things hang differently. It’s a miracle what happens, but you definitely are different afterward. Unless you’re Gisele.”
But having a baby had another unexpected effect on Alba: It helped her get more in touch with her own sexuality.
“I was quite shy with it,” she says. “It wasn’t something I embraced until I had my daughter. I saw how incredible and amazing it is to be a woman and to be able to create a life.”

The singer and her husband, professional bull rider Ty Murray, welcomed a son, Kase Townes Murray, on Monday, July 11 in Texas, their rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.
Kase arrived at 7 p.m. CST and weighed in at 7 lbs., 6 oz.
“Ty and I are so pleased to welcome our new baby boy into the world,” Jewel tells PEOPLE. “We are overcome with happiness — it really is as great as everyone told us it would be — better even!”

Childbirth was a bit of a nightmare for Miranda Kerr, but at least she has a dream husband with whom to raise son Flynn.
“I actually thought I was going to die at one point and left my body,” the model, 28, tells InStyle Australia of the delivery back in January. “I was looking down on myself – the pain was so intense.”
“I kept thinking, ‘How do women do this?’ But if other women have done this, I can do it too. I was determined.”
