All smiles!

Pregnant January Jones gives us a grin after lunching at Little Dom’s on Wednesday in Los Angeles.

The Mad Men star, 33, is due with her first child in early fall.

“I’m having a hard time [choosing names]. I’m looking for boy and girl names obviously, because it’s going to be a surprise for me,” Jones said recently.

”I love Cary Grant, I like Marilyn Monroe. That seems kind of like a celebrity thing to do, those weird names. I’m not really into that. I don’t want to be too cliché about it.”

How about, who’s your daddy!

Maggie on

Rude much?

MollyF on

AmandaC, that was kind of rude.

This place has gone downhill. January Jones looks very comfortable in her outfit. And I don’t think it’s anyone’s business who her baby’s father is.

Toya L. on

Or she could name it, “I know who the daddy of my child is but it’s nobody’s business that’s not taking care of it”. She looks comfy and happy.

Megan on

January looks great and I cannot wait to meet her little one =)

fuzibuni on

omg she’s smiling.

Pamela on

Just because she’s not telling the media/public doesn’t mean she doesn’t know who the father is…Minnie Driver has never revealed her son’s father’s name…

FAB on

She is really ALLLLLL BELLY!!!! Lunch must have been deeeelish…. she has a BIG SMILE TODAY!!!! :) )))

kendrajoi on

I didn’t know the woman had teeth!

Adrienne on

Nice to see her smile for a change. And FYI When you are in the public eye, who the father of your baby is- happens to be relevant. As does a lot of other information that seems like it shouldn’t be. The second you become famous you relinquish all privacy. Probably a little unfair but she and every other celeb knew what they were getting themselves into.

Alice on

Personally, I like her name, but other might call January a “weird” name.

Adrienne, I have always loved your name and use it as my fake internet name!

soph on

“Rude much?”

I know it’s hard to come up with something better than the “___ much?” variety, but try.

Toya L. on

Adrienne you are correct in the fact that celebs give up their privacy to a certain extent. Gone are the days they can walk down the street, shop, eat out, go on a family outing, on a date etc… without pics being taken.

If celebs choose to share personal info about their private lives, that’s great but they don’t OWE the public any info on their private lives just because they are celebs. Oprah, Robert Deniro, Al Pacino, Gwenyth, Beyonce, Julia, Bradley C. etc… are just a few who for the most part do not talk about their private lives unless they want too. It still leaves the door open for people to inquire, speculate, start rumors, or gossip about them though and all of that comes with being a celeb.

Indira on

the father of a child is always disclosed. It’s just really unusual to not disclose the person at all, for anyone celeb or non-celeb. Not really joke worthy but its quite odd. Its definitely adding to the gossip surrounding the pregnancy and like Padma Laskshmi’s situation, it’s going to come out sometime. Mostly likely, not through January Jones.

MollyF on

Why should the identity of the father be known? Is it anyone’s business? NO. I think January is in the right to keep that private. Just because she’s a celeb, doesn’t mean she has to give up all her privacy.

Michelle on

She may be in the public eye, but the baby’s father is probably not. And like Minnie Driver, I am sure she wishes for it to remain that way.

Just because she didn’t shout his name when the stick turned pink doesn’t mean she doesn’t know who he is or that he won’t be involved in the child’s life.

Indira on

Michelle, she i think her published statement said she’d be raising the child as a single parent. I think that implies that she’s doing it on her own.

Jillian on

“the father of a child is always disclosed.”

No. Not true. There are many, many people in this world who have no clue who their fathers are, which is very sad. My dads friend just found out he had a son. The son is in his 40′s.

In regards to her being a “single” parent, she is technically single, but doesn’t get to chose to raise the child alone IF the father wants to be in the life of the child. I hope for the sake of the child, the are both in his or her life. IF, he doesn’t want in the kids life, that’s so sad.

AmandaC on

I actually wasn’t trying to be rude, just funny.

opinions&thoughts on

We don’t have a right to that information. Her child may very well be told about and/or involved with the father. It’s none of our business. It’s just nosiness that has people demanding more information.

A on

I’m sorry, I can’t get over the fact that we live in a world where this bimbo thinks Cary for a boy and Marilyn for a girl are “weird.” She probably thinks Apple and Pilot Inspektor (sic) are perfectly normal.

Terri on

Actually no, the identity of her child’s father is not relevant. It has nothing to do with her acting career, which is the only reason you know who she is. So no, the identity of her child’s father is not only not relevant, it is entirely not your business.

k on

A- learn to read. she said she likes names like cary and marilyn. those weird names were a separate thought (referring to pilot etc most likely).

geez- some people are sp smug and rude.

Jennifer Chew on

@ Alice. I think the reason why her name is January is because she was actually born in the month of January. No imagination there by her parents. So if January’s child is born in November, who knows she might do the same thing to her child that her parents did to her.
