Leave it up to 77kids to make shopping fun for the little ones.

Today marks the opening of their first New York City kids store — aptly named the 77Kids N.Y.C. Style Lab — in Times Square.

Along with too-cute fashions (think leopard print ruffle dresses, rocker hoodies and graphic onesies) in sizes newborn to 14, the shop also features a Rock Star photobooth that projects your child’s face into a music video, a candy machine, stairs that light up and a state-of-the art touchscreen that lets your tot try on outfits virtually.

“[This] continues our tradition of giving customers something completely new and unexpected,” said Jim O’Donnell, CEO, American Eagle Outfitters, Inc.

“This is not retail-as-usual. From the clothing to the creative and entertaining activities, 77kids at Times Square is changing what it means to go shopping.”

Can’t join the party at this fun-filled location? Just search for a store in your area. Or shop online at ae.com. Right now, the company is offering free shipping on your entire order when you buy two items from their newest arrivals to celebrate this exciting launch.

I do not like this style for kids. I think the outfit in the first picture looks horrible!

I completely agree. Is the first picture supposed to look like a boy’s or girl’s outfit?

I think the clothse look just fine…it’s nice to have other options for kids other than the same old same old. N i love edgy age-appropriate clothes for children. I will definitely be shopping here (if the prices are reasonable) lol

I love their clothes! It’s one of my favorite places to shop (I usually do it online though). That outfit in the first picture is not really their best look and not how I’d dress my daughter but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the clothes on their website! They’re the cutest and priced well, too!

They should feature Matilda Jane on here. It can have a bit of an edgier look if you want it to…but can also be feminine and beautiful too. I don’t like that outfit in the first pic…and poppy, I agree…is it a boy or girl outfit? Strange.
