her daughter is cute, but she doesnt need to sugarcoat parenting that much. i guess it depends on the question she was asked and the kind of day she was having, but i like when people give realistic answers. it doesnt need to be all nightmarish complaining, just something balanced.

@amw:That might BE a truthful answer for her. I have a cousin whose little girl was wonderful. I saw them almost every day and this child seriously had the best disposition of any child I’ve ever known. She smiled and laughed constantly. Her mom actually got so spoiled by it that she was thrown for a total loop when her little boy came along and was the polar opposite LOL!

just because the day has it’s up and down moments doesn’t mean she isn’t very serious when she says every day is wonderful.

She waited and wanted to find her husband and have a child for a long time. She has been blessed to find him and have her daughter. I think she is simply enjoying everything and not let the challenging moments take over her enjoyment.

She’s accentuating the positive and eliminating the negative.

So happy to see Lisa as a mom!

amw, if you knew Lisa you wouldn’t judge…Kat, you’re exactly right, she focuses on the positive instead of dwelling on the negative, not a bad way to be if you ask me.

If she would’ve commented that parenting was difficult, people would still complain, saying that can’t be true because she has money, works in Hollywood, etc. Celebrities are damned if they do, damned if they don’t.

Not all kids are hellions. I love parenting my daughter. She might have her days….but 99% of the time shes a happy, sweet little girl.
CUTE picture!! I adore it. I have to wonder if Lisa will be making more children’s music now tho. 🙂

Lisa is a lot of fun …. talented! I am happy for her to be a mommy. We watched her TV (cooking/traveling) show some years ago.

Being a parent is a wonderous opportunity. Lisa certainly has a right to be “braggy” about her precious little girl Lyla. No doubt that their second child will be just as bright, curious and …. special.

All babies are blessings. They come to us perfect. So, overall, it’s the parents I worry about most.
