For so long, nursery bedding has been a pink, yellow and blue pastel affair. But now, thanks to Skip Hop, you can opt for bright, fun colors for your baby’s room with their newly launched Treetop Friends bedding collection ($220).

Made of 250-thread-count cotton sateen, the four piece set — comforter, bumper, crib sheet and crib skirt — is super soft. Plus, it comes with a few equally stylish accessories (sheets, cotton blanket, embroidered pillow and changing pad cover) that you and your baby will love.

But best of all, it matches all of the company’s oh-so cute Treetop Friends developmental toys in case you want a completely uniform look in your child’s nursery. To see more of the company’s modern baby bedding, go to

Wow, so cute! I love seeing nursery decor that’s different from the usual. I love the bright and varied colors, not just the typical pastels.

This isn’t new, it’s been around for a long time now. At least 7 mos now (because I am 7 mos pregnant)and we are doing a woodland animals themed nursery so I have seen this set.

BOOOORING! So over owls…

No offense to anyone who chose owls as the theme for their nursery but I agree – owls are so boring and I dont understand why people think that they are cute for a baby room! They have to be some of the ugliest and odd looking animals in existence and I dont associate cuddle soft babies when I see them.

Yeah, cause nothing says cute and cuddly like bears and alligators.

Oh, shut up! Owls are adorable and cute. Extremely pretty animals. Wouldn’t use the crib skirt, though. It’s on the list of SIDS risk factors.

I love the owl theme and used it for my son’s nursery. i would have used this set! he is my little hoot owl.

$220 for a comforter, bumper, crib sheet and crib skirt? Two of these four items are too dangerous to be in the crib with a baby… And of the remaining two, the baby really only needs the sheet — and they need more than one of those in case there’s a nighttime diaper leak.

As a first time mom due in a couple weeks, I can only laugh at the unnecessary and overpriced things–cute though they may (occasionally) be–that companies are trying to sell me! No offense to Skip Hop because I have a few items that I think will be very useful, but this $220 would be much better spent 220 other ways.

Alexandra, why do people who dislike it have to shut up? Just because you like it? That’s not how this page or the world works honey!

Emily, while I wouldn’t buy this set, the set seems like a very good price to me! I have been a few sets recently and the ones I bought were about the same or more expensive. They all include the same items.
