Look for Less: January Jones’ Casual Polish

Fern/Splash News Online

Even when she dresses down, January Jones always looks so put together.

Our proof? On June 27, we spotted the glowing mom-to-be in a simple, yet chic ensemble while heading to lunch in Century City, Calif.

Jones expertly paired a cream swingy tunic with Paige Premium Denim‘s Jimmy Jimmy Westbourne jean in rebel ($194), a brown shoulder bag and metallic flats.

Love her polished style as much as we do?

You’re in luck! We’ve rounded up similar items — all under $40!

Top

Keep cool and comfy this summer in Ann Taylor Loft‘s Maternity Smocked Hem Top ($30). Made of a super soft cotton/modal, it’s super flattering too.

Jeans

Being pregnant doesn’t mean you can’t look hip. Go for a more trendy vibe with Motherhood Maternity Distressed Fabric Jeans ($40). They feature an over-the-belly panel that is designed to comfortably support your bump.

Shoes

Chic and easy to walk in, Charlotte Russe‘s Metallic Ballet Flats ($22.50) are the perfect mom-to-be shoe.

Bag

Whether you’re expecting or not, a stylish neutral purse is a closet must-have. We suggest Mossimo Supply Co.‘s Saddle Handbag ($25) — it sports two straps so you can carry over the shoulder or by hand.

I think January looks sloppy, not polished. The recommended outfit is actually much cuter.

Wow, Maggie, jealous much!?!? January looks gorgeous and very polished! Her outfit is so cute and appropriate for a pregnant woman. I’m not sure what you have against her but if you call her outfit sloppy then you must not know the real definition of that word. And the recommended outfit is practically identical to the one January is wearing! It’s obvious you dislike her for whatever reason (because she’s gorgeous, rich, famous…) but it’s no reason to diss her outfit or her when clearly there’s nothing wrong with it. Jealousy is a bad, bad thing. ;)

?? Not jealous at all actually. And I like January very much, I’m a huge Mad Men fan. I just think the featured outfit is too loose-fitting and therefore looks sloppy – I would prefer to see a tighter top with the looser boyfriend jeans, or leggings or a more fitted pant with the blousy top. That’s all. Not sure what I said to deserve the personal rant.

i immediately thought, “january jones is a polak?! no way!” hehe.

- rebekah on

Can someone verify if the purse she is carrying a Chloe purse?

- J-Lin on

Maggie,
I agree with you and thought the same thing! Polished is not the word I would look to describe this look at all!!

Abe
Just because one doesn’t like someones outfit, doesn’t mean they are jealous! That makes no sense!

Why do the worst outfits get chosen for the Look for Less segments?

Maggie – I agree. I think she always looks sloppy.

- Tess on

Am I missing the polish? I thought that required pulling a brush through your hair.

- Brooke on

Wow, what a surprise… another scowling photo of Jan Jones.

Nice outfit!!!! Great look January!!! :)

- Fab on

I think January looks great. Very chic.

- Terri on

I agree, it’s a cute outfit and definitely casual. Not exactly polished.

- Indira on

She looks miserable.

- Shannon on

She looks miserable and unpolished, but at least she’s predictable…

- RKF on

She always looks miserable, no wonder she’s single having a baby. Cheer up sweetheart

- Sophie on

Never understood why anyone thinks people should walk around with a giant, fake, cheese ball grin on their face at all time. She looks like a normal human being walking down the street…ignoring the bunch of men taking her picture! Just because you want her to be miserable doesn’t mean that she actually is.

Wow!!! Some women can be so mean-spirited and vicious!

Love her outfit (not the “look for less”)!
