Happy Independence Day! Charlie Tamara Tulip and Dolly Rebecca Rose, 2½, get their flags — and their ice creams! — out while celebrating the Fourth with parents Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell on Sunday. “They’re just totally wired differently,” the model and actress, 38, told PEOPLE recently of her twin girls. “It’s like a science experiment.”

ha! I love how Dolly has different colored sandals on. Cute!

I LOVE that her shoes don’t match. It’s refreshing to see a child look like a child these days.

Yes, I think they have their hands full with Dolly! They won’t admit which twin is the baby Bushwacker..but I have always guessed it is Dolly… and the diffrent color shoes she has on solves the case LOL!

Good luck to them! One day when my youngest was 2, he woke at 3 a.m. in the middle of a NE Winter and decided he wanted to go for a walk. Episode 1 of 800,043

I love little girls in dresses and tennis shoes!! It’s a little of the best of both worlds. And I adore the different color shoes too! I love how down to earth this entire family seems to be. Love them all 🙂

Yep – I reckon it is Dolly who is the “challenging” child. They are soooo cute! I think they are both going to be really good looking when they grow up – they’ve got good genes!

But they’re not holding hands! They must hate each other like Ben and Jennifer!

Super cute kiddos.

Oh my, Rebecca looks terrible. But the girls are super cute. I hope she doesn’t teach them to hack their beautiful faces with plastic surgery before they’re even 40.

Like how they are not dressed alike – kudos to them for what to let each one have their own identiy! I hate parents who dress their twins the same!

How cute. They look very different in size (height wise).
