1 Trend, 3 Ways: Mini Straw Fedoras

07/06/2011 at 10:00 AM ET

Straw hats and warm weather go hand and hand, so we aren’t surprised to see so many celeb tots rocking the trend. Gable Nealon wore a black style on the red carpet last October in L.A., while Mason Disick donned a plaid one to visit a Calabasas, Calif. church on Easter Sunday. More recently, Homer Laffoon wore a more traditional version at the L.A. premiere of Mr. Popper’s Penguins on June 12, which he attended with mom Anne Heche.

Such a cute kid…but that name is kinda sad – Homer Laffoon? I would be so pissed at my parents lol. Don’t get me wrong, not making fun of him, he’s a doll

I think it’s more accurate to call that style of hat a trilby. A fedora’s brim is much wider.

Mom Said It

"I had to make a decision that I could sleep with every night. I did feel responsible for the young girls who I probably confused and let down. I apologize for that. But I wasn't trying to glamorize teen pregnancy."
