Since becoming a dermatologist, Dr. Mona Gohara (below) has made it her mission to educate the public about the dangers of skin cancer, especially among people of color.

Her solution: start protection at an early age because just one blistering sunburn or five non-blistering sunburns in childhood double the lifetime risk of developing melanoma, a potentially fatal form of skin cancer.

And since babies under 6 months aren’t supposed to wear sunscreen, proper coverage is key. But most children’s clothing doesn’t provide adequate protection during everyday play. And it wasn’t until she welcomed sons Kiran, 4½, and Jai, 2½, that Dr. Gohara realized the dearth of stylish sun-blocking options available.

Neil Patrick Harris and Elton John’s Shared Surrogacy Secret

When Neil Patrick Harris and partner David Burtka found themselves keeping a big secret — they were expecting fraternal twins via a surrogate — the couple never realized their only confidants had some equally exciting news of their own.

“Right before — like a month before — we were going to give birth, we were having dinner with David Furnish, Elton [John's] partner, and we were just busting to tell someone,” the How I Met Your Mother star, 38, revealed during a Monday visit to Conan.

“So we leaned over and whispered to him, ‘We have a secret to tell you. We’re expecting twins in October through surrogacy.”

Furnish’s reaction, however, was one neither Harris nor Burtka were expecting.

Selma Blair acknowledges the paparazzi’s presence — and offers a side view of her belly! — while heading out with a pal on Wednesday in Los Angeles.

The previous day, the actress, 39, was involved in a fender-bender with a UPS truck. Thankfully all is well, and Blair even offered the driver a hug after exchanging information!

She and boyfriend Jason Bleick are set to welcome their first child in early July.

Thalía Welcomes Son Matthew Alejandro

It’s a boy for Thalía!

The Conexión Thalía host and husband Tommy Mottola welcomed their second child together — son Matthew Alejandro — Saturday, June 25 at 11:48 a.m., the songstress announced via Twitter. He weighed in at 7 lbs., 14 oz.

“Thalía, Tommy, and Sabrina [Sakaë, 3½,] joyfully announce the birth of Matthew Alejandro Mottola,” she writes.

It didn’t take long for the new baby boy to settle in, as only hours later Thalía, 39, added, “Good night! Matteo Alejandro and Mama are going to sleep! Thank you for your love and light!”

The couple announced the pregnancy in March. Matthew also joins Michael and Sarah, Mottola’s adult children from a previous relationship.

Halle Berry and daughter Nahla Ariela keep it casual — in stylish denim duds! — after the 3-year-old’s preschool pick-up in Los Angeles, Calif. on Wednesday.

It was a day of errands for the actress, who was also spotted getting groceries at Whole Foods.

Nahla is the only child for Berry, 44, and ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.

Expectant mom Jessica Alba works yet another posh ensemble Wednesday at the Los Angeles launch party for the new children’s book, Carla and Leo’s World of Dance.

The actress and husband Cash Warren expect a sibling for daughter Honor Marie, 3, this fall, and Alba, 30, admits it has been tough trying to balance parenting and pregnancy.

“A little harder on the body,” she said.

“My daughter still wants to be picked up and ever since my belly popped she’s really on me.”
