January Jones Celebrates Beachside Baby Shower

Baby shower — at the beach!

Mom-to-be January Jones was fêted by girlfriends — including Mad Men costar Christina Hendricks — at a shower to celebrate her upcoming arrival on Saturday in Malibu.

Mingling on an oceanfront patio with pals, Jones, 33, “seemed happy to be spending time at the beach with her friends” at the afternoon party, an onlooker tells PEOPLE. ”Everyone was laughing and seemed to have a great time.”

“January was in a happy and playful mood,” the source continues. “She even kicked off her sandals and strolled along the beach with a friend, dipping her toes into the ocean, smiled and playfully splashed her girlfriend.”

Jones’s baby — a delivery surprise — is due in early fall.

Tori Spelling Guest Stars on Disney’s Jake and the Never Land Pirates

Tori Spelling pulls out all the stops when it comes to Liam and Stella McDermott‘s birthday parties, but the mom-to-be gave her kids the ultimate gift when she signed up for a recurring role on Disney Junior‘s hit animated series, Jake and the Never Land Pirates.

“It’s exciting as an actress to do a role you know your 3- and 4-year-old will watch and be proud of,” said Spelling. “They have been watching the show and love it and can’t wait to see my episodes.”

Ziering, 47, is currently in New York City working with Nu Skin, and will soon be appearing on Fran Drescher’s new TV Land show, Happily Divorced.

Kellie Pickler In No Rush to Have Children

Kellie Pickler doesn’t understand the point of having kids just because someone else is.

“I don’t think people realize … the responsibility that comes along with it. It’s almost like a fad,” the country singer tells CMT Radio’s Cody Alan in an interview airing Monday, when asked if she and husband Kyle Jacobs are thinking of having children.

“I don’t know what’s gotten into these kids where they feel like they have got to have a baby because their friend has one or whatever,” Pickler, who turns 25 on Tuesday, says.

“They don’t take into consideration that it’s a very selfish thing to do if you’re not prepared and ready.”

Mariah Carey Shows Off Daughter Monroe’s Diva Behavior

She’s not even 2 months old, but Mariah Carey‘s daughter Monroe is already a diva in training.

“This is baby Monroe saying “no pictures dahhhhling” at 7+1/2 weeks,” Tweeted the singer, 42. “Oh dear.”

Carey and her husband Nick Cannon, 30, welcomed Monroe and her twin brother Moroccan on April 30.

Monet Mazur: Having Two Kids ‘Is Like Having 10′

She is now a mother of two, but learning to balance two boys has been anything but easy for Monet Mazur.

“It’s easier the second time around because it’s less scary, but it’s harder having two because two is like having 10,” the actress, 35, tells PEOPLE at the I Heart Ronson & JCPenney party on Tuesday.

Fortunately, 6-year-old Marlon has been basking in big brotherhood bliss since the arrival of Luciano, 3½ months, her second son with husband Alex de Rakoff. “He loves it, thank God,” she says.

As for regaining her fab figure after baby, Mazur, who has “not yet” reached her goal, is doing her time — at the gym! “I’m just going to the gym a lot. Pilates,” she reveals.
