When the Mad Men cast begins filming the show’s fifth season, mom-to-be January Jones may be able to give her costar Christina Hendricks tips on how to play her pregnant character, Joan Holloway.

“I’m going to see her next week,” Hendricks, 36, says of Jones, 33, who is due in the fall. “She sounds really happy and excited.”

Hendricks, like costar Aaron Staton, has no doubt Jones will be a great mom.

“I know January is going to be very warm and tender,” she told PEOPLE at a Johnnie Walker whiskey-tasting in New York City. “I just think she’s gonna rock.”

Tony DiMaio/Startraks

It is strictly time spent with the stars — and their kids! — for daughter Birdie Leigh, Busy Philipps jokes.

“Well, you know, celebrities exclusively play with each other. And their children,” the actress playfully told reporters Sunday at the 5th annual Kidstock Music and Arts Festival. “So all of my play dates are celebrity play dates.”

All kidding aside, however, the Cougar Town star is aware of the perks of her career — including being able to bring the 2½-year-old to work on set.

“I have my own dressing room so I have it set up like a playroom in there for her,” she says. ”She has special toys there that she doesn’t have at home so she looks forward to coming and playing.”

Easy Tips to Throwing a Fun Family Game Night

Raising two kids in a home that includes a Wii, an iPad, computers and cell phones, family expert Deb Geigis Berry knows how difficult it is to get the family together for some one-on-one time. So she’s turning to a trick used by her own parents to reunite her clan — family game night.

“I think that tradition is enjoying a resurgence because many families are looking for ways to connect face-to-face in an electronic era,” she told PEOPLE. “I really think game night is great because part of my tips include turning off the TV and cell phone, or whatever might distract you from interacting, and truly connecting.”

Tony DiMaio/Startraks

Like mother, like daughter for actress Constance Zimmer and daughter Colette Zoe.

According to the Entourage star, her little girl has always shown an interest in creating and acting out pretend play.

“Every day she creates a different character and they’re all just based on something that she’s hearing from her friends at the park, or if she hears us mention a name of somebody, she’ll turn it into a character,” Zimmer, 40, told reporters at the 5th annual Kidstock Music and Arts Festival sponsored by Hudson Jeans on Sunday.

“Specifically putting characters and matching her outfit to that make believe character is pretty fantastic.”
