Sasha Pete Schreiber, 3½, points out the paparazzi while hitching a ride on dad Liev Schreiber‘s shoulders Sunday in New York City.

“We’re fortunate to have the summer off this year, but when you’re traveling so much, it just makes you want to not go anywhere and just stay where you live,” mom Naomi Watts tells PEOPLE, explaining that she and her fiancé will be kicking back in the Big Apple with Sasha and Kai, 2½, this year.

I’m just curious: did Sasha’s parents legally rename him? If I remember correctly he original first name was Alexander and Sasha is just a nickname.
