Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts help their blond boys Sasha, 3½, and Kai, 2½, beat the heat with some fruity smoothies on Monday in New York City.

“I know all the playgrounds very well,” the actress, 42, said recently. “On the weekends, we tend to spend the whole day outside.”

Boy, Kai is starting to look like Sasha! Beautiful family.

Awwww Sasha and Kai are so adorable!

I’ve got to admit this is one gorgeous family, and what I love is that are ALWAYS with those children. So hands on. Nothing against nannies but it is nice to see the parents out with their kids. The blonde hair is precious and although they have the same coloring, Sasha and Kai have their own look (faces are different).

Good point, Lisa. I’ve noticed that too. I have no doubt that they have nannies, but they use them when they are working (that’s the whole idea, right?) and travelling, not on family outings, or doing errands. It’s clear that they want to be the ones raising their kids and witnessing as many milestones as possible, dealing with the good & the bad.

Okay, I may get into trouble for being judgemental 🙂 but it disturbs me that often when you see Naomi and her (incredibly gorgeous) boys out in the sun, she is wearing a hat and they’re not. She’s from Australia, where I’m from, so she should be really aware of the risks of skin cancer. Her children are so pale-skinned, I would be putting a hat on them every time they left the house in summer. She’s acting as a good role model by wearing a hat herself, so why doesn’t she get her boys to as well?

Just my two cents, but we have had skin cancer public awareness campaigns for the last 30 years in Australia, so it’s something I’m very conscious of with my son.
