Jessica Alba Stocks Up on Maggie & Sparrow Baby Accessories

A special delivery arrived for actress Jessica Alba this week — and it wasn’t her second child, who is due this fall.

It was a specially wrapped box of baby booty sent direct from one of her favorite online shops, Maggie & Sparrow.

“My new baby items arrived from Australia off of #etsy Maggie & Sparrow store – Love the eco packaging,” she Tweeted on Tuesday, along with a photo.

Situated on an Australian vineyard, the company specializes in handmade patchwork quilts, but also sells adorable bespoke baby accessories like mobiles, buntings, cushions and stuffed toys — many of them animal-inspired.

Have a specific theme in mind? Owner and quilter Kathryn Elizabeth Brain will work with you to match your baby room scheme. Says her website: “Vintage, limited edition and specialty fabrics are carefully sourced and coordinated, to create unique and one of a kind designs.”

We can only wonder what awaits baby No. 2 inside that box — we’re still hoping for a Twitpic of that eco packaging ripped open!

I hope she does tell us what’s in the packages!

Also, there’s rumors she’s having a girl. I’m thinking they’re true!

very nice stuff, not that affordable though… from the styles and feel of the designs, i bet she is having a girl too.

I love etsy, too. However, I think it’s funny that she states she loves the eco packaging, but has them shipped from the other side of the world.

Bam – I caught that too! Shipping from Australia = not Eco friendly!!

I wonder if these were given to her, and that is why she did a shout out to the store.

Pretty quilt. If that’s the one she got, it looks like it is for a girl. I know Jessica hasn’t said either way what she is having. I was guessing “boy,” but after seeing that quilt, it looks like she might be having a girl!

For those wondering. This was ordered from my store and not a gift. x

Mom Said It

"I've always wanted more children and [I] had to make a decision: Do I wait to find the right partner or do it on my own? I was open to either gender and started the process two years ago."
