Back from the beach!
A bikini-sporting Halle Berry totes 3-year-old daughter Nahla Ariela after stocking up on essentials at a grocery store in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Tuesday.
Nahla is the only child for the actress, 44, and her ex, model Gabriel Aubry.
“I hope she’s proud of me,” says Berry.
“I’m sure she won’t like everything I’ve done, but I hope she will appreciate that I dared to be myself and always did what I believed in. I hope those are qualities that I pass on to her.”

I seriously don’t get the hyperbole. Nahla is a cute kid, but stunning and gorgeous she’s not, imho. She’ll probably grow up to be beautiful, but I think today there are plenty celebrity babies who are much more beautiful.

yeah it’s just a question of taste. the other day everyone was fawning over how stunning Anja Mazur is and i just don’t see it. i think she’s just an average looking kid and i probably wouldn’t look twice at her if i saw her in a crowd.
but to me nahla really is stunningly beautiful and if she ran past me in public i would notice her.

@JM: I agree!!! I also cannot see Anja Mazur as beautiful as Nahla… Actually she doesnt even look like her gorgeous super- model mom.

I also fall into the Nahla-is-stunning camp. I think her features are just lovely and she’ll be a gorgeous lady someday. But yes, all I could see in this picture is Halle’s shirt not quite doing it’s job!
