Tina Fey’s Fave Maternity Brand – Ann Taylor

04/25/2011 at 10:00 AM ET

Tina Fey may have agonized over whether or not to have a second child, but she sure has no problem picking a brand that works for her maternity style.

For casual outings, the 30 Rock star opts for Ann Taylor‘s classic, tailored pieces.

On April 17, Fey wore the Nautical Striped sweater ($68, left) while running errands in Los Angeles.

And three days later, she paired the Cadet Stripe sweater ($50) with the army green Canvas Motorcycle jacket ($130) while departing LAX.

Though the company’s regular collection works well for the mom-to-be now (she’s just five months along), we bet she’ll start shopping from their equally stylish maternity line soon.

The red jacket is the standout in that picture. I’m surprised it wasn’t mentioned.

Indira on

Probably because it isn’t Ann Taylor?

Tess on

I understand that. My point is that the jacket should have been mentioned, not the shirt.

tailored and nice

Since it’s clearly an ad for Ann Taylor and the company has paid $, People.com isn’t going to shill for another company out of the goodness of their own heart.

P.S. I agree with you about the jacket though.

Tess…..The point is the jacket has nothing to do with the article. The jacket has nothing to do with Ann Taylor. So there is no point in mentioning it. If you get it then why should it be mentioned and not the shirt?

I really like the whole outfit !

Sometimes comments are directed towards TPTB, IMO.

Gotta love the ads disguised as “news”

Tess, What is TPTB?

@ Jillian: TPTB means The Powers that Be

Anyway, I think Tina Fey look gorgeous! She’s so beautiful and extremely hilarious, one of my favorite actresses; I love her interviews as well.

DARN IT! BOTH my pregnancies I bemoaned not having one or two REALLY lovely classic pieces ala Ann Taylor – especially when i was in a wedding at 7.5 months.

When did Tina Fey say this was her favourite brand? I thought Katie Holmes was the celebrity spokesperson/model for the company? It’s kind of cheesy (and unethical) to use Tina as an unpaid model without her knowledge.
