Her latest film Arthur may be a hit at the box office — but Jennifer Garner still makes time to run her own errands between promotional┬áresponsibilities!

The actress, 38, and elder daughter Violet Anne, 5, spent Saturday at Brentwood Country Mart, making stops at The Pump Station and New Balance before picking up an ice cream.

Garner and husband Ben Affleck are also parents to daughter Seraphina, 2.

I love how she seems to spend so much “one on one” time with her girls when she’s not working. Some celebs seem to be reliant on nannies 24/7 – whether they are working or not, they take the nanny(ies) everywhere (playgrounds, errands, etc.). Gwen S. is a classic example.

Jen is the polar opposite – tries to be casual and low key and is totally hands on. She genuinely enjoys being with her girls and couldn’t care less if she is seen without make up or the latest fashions. Not a fan of her acting, but man, she gets an A+ as a mom.

Haven’t seen Violet in a while–is she in Kindergarten now? She looks so cute with her glasses and dimples. And of course, love her gap (which I have as well)!

Yeah, Jen!!! Good to see her again. Very humble and down to earth — very unHollywood.

Love how down to earth Jen is. She is one of my fave celeb moms and she seems like such a nice person. Violet is getting so tall, she’s adorable, always seems to be smiling.

She’s 5?! I would have guessed 9 at that height! Must get her height from her dad. Spitting image of her mommy though!
