Another reason to change the title of this blog. There is no mom in this photo and it is gorgeous. Dad’s always seem to get less credit than they deserve and it annoys me greatly. There are many great dads out there and they should also be given credit for raising their children, be it good or bad, just like moms.

I agree, Jane. The “Moms & Babies” part is pretty darn stupid. I wouldn’t call a teenager or even a five year old a “baby” either. Time to include the whole family, People!

@Jane. You are right that there are many dads featured in this blog, however, the blog is really about pregnancy and then once the baby is born, the baby. So really, when you look at the posts, they are either about the pregnant celebrity (or surrogate in some cases) or about the baby/child. I think the concept is to talk about the kids regardless of who is with them in the picture. BUT, you are right about the Dad’s being minimized. This blog (and many other parenting blogs) could be more family oriented.

Why not just revert to the original name of the site — Celebrity Baby Blog? I don’t know why they changed it but it doesn’t make sense.

i saw “mother and child” the other day, naomi is so talented and gorgeous. The story of her character is so sad and she simply played the role so well. Why no oscar for Naomi?

I have been meaning to see that movie myself and agree that Naomi is a talented actress and well-deserving of more critical acclaim and awards.
Although she does quality work and is very selective with her projects, she is very low key and doesn’t court publicity (unlike a lot of less deserving actors) which could be part of it. In Hollywood, you have to play the game.

Jillian, that’s what I meant. The original name of the site was simply “Celebrity Baby Blog” — no “Moms and Babies”. When People acquired the site, they added the second part which I think should be removed.
