Dr. Phil to Be a Grandfather – Again!

Dr. Phil is getting one special birthday present.

His TV producer son Jay McGraw and wife Erica are expecting their second child. The two are already parents to daughter Avery Elizabeth, 1.

Erica, who, along with her sisters Nicole and Jaclyn, is known as a “Dahm triplet,” and Jay, 31, executive producer of The Doctors, made the announcement officially on television’s Dr. Phil show.

“Robin and I are thrilled Jay and Erica are expecting again,” Dr Phil tells PEOPLE, “and the due date is my birthday – Sept. 1. Avery has been getting us into tiptop babysitting shape.”

At the time the couple announced their first pregnancy while on a family vacation in Italy, Dr. Phil said, “I think Jay and Erica were totally ready and will make the best parents a child could ever want. I plan to be the typical doting grandfather that gets to do all the fun stuff and none of the tough stuff.”

The couple, who shared a memorable ultrasound of Avery with a national audience on Jay’s show, wed in 2006 at the McGraw family home in Beverly Hills, with Dr. Phil serving as Jay’s best man.

They seem to love being parents and it’s great they’ll be having another baby.

I was wondering if the other 2 sisters were going to be pregnant with #2 at the same time too? Guess not since they didn’t announce it on the show.

That was really quick. Seems like just a second ago their were expecting their first. Well…I do kind of feel like she is a bit odd with her sisters…dressing alike and all. Wonder what Dr. Phil thinks about the fact that they were playboy gals. All the best!

They are identical. There was a piece done about them saying that they don’t dress like this on purpose. They just so happen to buy the same clothes and walk out of the house dressing alike. They knew when each of them were going into labor also. its like twin speak but with triplets.
