Kings of Leon’s Matthew Followill Is a Dad-to-Be

Kings of Leon will soon welcome a new prince — or princess — into the band.

Guitarist Matthew Followill, 25, and wife Johanna Bennett are expecting their first child, a rep for the band confirms to PEOPLE.

The baby, reportedly due this spring, will arrive around the time Kings of Leon head back out on the road in support of their latest album, Come Around Sundown.

Followill and Bennett, 26, are the first couple to announce they have a child on the way — although other members have begun to settle down.

Drummer Nathan Followill wed singer Jessie Baylin in Nov. 2009, while frontman Caleb Followill popped the question to model Lily Aldridge in Sept. 2010.

Spotted: Jerry O’Connell and Twins – Daddy’s Girls!

Jerry O’Connell has his hands full — in a good way! — with twin daughters Charlie Tamara Tulip and Dolly Rebecca Rose, 2, while out in Calabasas, Calif., on Monday.

Looks like the girls are feeling better — mom Rebecca Romijn recently said that it’s been a tough couple of months.

“Right now, I think the whole job of being a 2-year-old is just trying to get as sick as often as possible to build up your immune system,” she joked.

“It’s been three months of fevers, colds and vomiting.”

Matthew McConaughey: My Kids Are Heading for Sibling Rivalry

The honeymoon may be over soon for Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves — as parents, anyway.

Their two kids — Levi, 2½, and Vida, 13 months — are heading for some sibling rivalry any day now, predicts the actor.

“[Levi] dotes on her, but [Vida is] getting big enough where it’s a competition now and he’s only got a few more months of being bigger than her,” McConaughey, 41, told Access Hollywood Sunday on the Oscars red carpet.

“She’s gonna overtake him I think and really start whooping his butt soon!”

“I have to agree with you,” Alves laughed.
