Tina Fey’s Daughter Collecting Credits on 30 Rock

Tina Fey might be a big time comedienne (with the Emmys to prove it!) but it turns out that her 5½-year-old daughter Alice isn’t quite convinced.

“I think she thinks Daddy’s funny,” Fey told PEOPLE at The Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center‘s Bunny Hop, held Tuesday at FAO Schwarz in New York City.

“She’s very funny,” Fey, 40, added. Even though Alice hasn’t yet learned to read, she’s credited on 30 Rock as the creator of the show’s quip “I want to go to there,” and her other antics constantly keep Fey on her toes.

“Last night I called to check on her and she was just chanting, ‘Apple juice! Apple juice! Apple juice!’ Over again until she got some apple juice,” she laughed.

Ian Ziering and wife Erin celebrate the upcoming birth of their daughter with a baby shower, held last Sunday in Los Angeles, Calif.

With a baby girl on the way in April, Ziering, 46, is preparing for fatherhood.

“OMG life is about to change. Going baby shopping for the first time!” Ziering, 46, Tweeted recently. “Strollers, crib, yikes!”

Matthew McConaughey: Being a Dad Feels Good

Forget “gym, tan, laundry,” Matthew McConaughey had his own three-step plan for transitioning from bachelorhood to being a father of two.

“Here’s how it goes,” the actor tells PEOPLE, “Plants, dogs, kids.”

McConaughey, 41, admits he’s still mystified by the effect that his children, Levi, 2½, and Vida, 14 months, and his partner Camila Alves, have had on him.

“It’s kind of hard to explain,” he said at the L.A. premiere of his new movie, The Lincoln Lawyer. “But it feels good. When you have kids then you’ll know what I’m talking about.”
