Eva Herzigová Welcomes Son Philip

INF

It’s a second son for Eva Herzigová.

The Czech-born model gave birth to a baby boy, Philip, on Sunday, March 13 at London’s Portland Hospital, her rep at Storm Management confirms to PEOPLE.

Philip joins big brother George, 3½, Herzigová’s elder son with Gregorio Marsiaj.

One of the world’s most in-demand runway and photography models — best known for her Wonderbra ads — Herzigová, 38, is currently the face of Chopard after appearing in a campaign for Dolce & Gabbana fragrance alongside Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Campbell last year.

Congrats. I like both names too.

Congrats to her! I love the names, too. Good, strong, classic names that will never go out of style.

- Guest on

I love her children’s names! Congratulations, those two will be gorgeous.

I like the name George, but personally don’t like Philip at all. A tad old fashioned, just my opinion – since others have given theirs on the name/s. However, at least it’s not an Audio Science, Pilot Inspector, Peanut, etc, etc, LOL. Congrats to them on the new arrival.

What nice, normal names.

- Tess on

how lovely for them. congrats. do not like the names at all, especially philip it’s just too common and not unique enough. but to each their own…

- JM on

Congrats!

I wonder why she gave birth in London. Does she live there? Was George born there?

- Sydney on

Just not “unique” enough? ::rolls eyes:: Rather thank gosh she chose normal, non-screwball names!

- Jennifer on

@ JM- give me a break. thank gosh for normal, pronounceable names!

- Jennifer on

She does not look 38! She also reminds me of Rebecca Romijn, very pretty. I love the classic names, congrats to them!

Unique? I bet he’ll be the only “Philip” in his class… Unlike the dozens of Aiden, Cadens and Jadens that we see now.

- Miche on

Jennifer thanks for making your point twice, i just wouldn’t have got it otherwise. oh i’m sorry, so if someone doesn’t agree with you then their point of view is tiresome is it? i never said she had to name her child Ferrarri or anything, it’s just a personal preference. calm your little temper! it comes across as very childish you know.

where i’m from the name philip is a little bit like aiden etc there were two philips in my class and four in my year, and i knew at least 6 or 7 others growing up. so remember, the world doesn’t begin and end in the country that you are from! and i didn’t say anything disrespectful or “roll my eyes” (seriously, what are you 13?) i just said the names were not for me, followed by “to each their own”. that’s how adults talk btw. you should try it sometime and not leap down someone’s throat because the DARE to say that they don’t particularly like a name.

that is all.

- JM on

Sydney,
according to wikipedia, her boyfriend is Italian and her first son was born in Paris. They probably have homes all over the world.

Congrats. I like the names and I agree with Miche, ordinary is the new unique! :)

- Kai on

Kai – thanks for that. I live in London and she’s rarely in the press over here, unless she’s promoting something. I had no idea she lived here part of the time.

- Sydney on

She chose those names because both have a very lovely and cute Czech version (I assume she speaks to them in Czech, hence using their Czech nicknames, Jiricek and Filipek)

- kimmie on

LOL @ Sam and Freya’s mom. You think Phillip is a tad old fashioned yet named your kid Freya? Freya is my grandmother’s name, how’s that for old fashioned?
