NICE/AKM

Whee!

An expectant Jessica Alba helps 2½-year-old daughter Honor Marie catch some air Thursday during a mommy-and-me playdate at Beverly Hills’ Coldwater Park.

The actress, 29, and husband Cash Warren will welcome their second child this fall.

They are both smiling! She seems so much prettier when she smiles.

Aww how cute! I agree with you Amy Y. She looks flawless and Honor looks adorable like always. I love how Honor is always dressed cute and nice but always comfy looking. Wow, they’ve been posting Jessica a lot though, ever since she announced her second pregnancy.

- lily on

Such a cute picture.

- Toya L. on

This playground is paparazzi central. The paps must live there since there are always pics of celebs there.

Celebs like Jessica Alba LOVE being photographed by the papss, why else would they keep going to pap infested parks??? There are daily pics of her. There must be a pap-free playground somewhere is LA!

- nnn on

Time to give Alba a rest.

- fuzibuni on

nnn- So she should stop taking her kid to the park?

- Liza on

It’s funny, a few months ago it was “Garner-Affleck” Central on here and everyone complained. Now they are no where to be seen and now it’s “Alba-Warren” Central.

- courtney on

nnn- Perhaps Jessica and Honor coutinue to go to that park because Honor loves it and Jessica sees no reason why Honor should have to stop going to the park she loves?

Anyway, Jessica is finally showing! :)

- CelebBabyLover on

I agree.. Enough of Alba

- Sofia on

I don’t agree. MORE of Alba. Honor is my favorite celeb baby/kid.

- nettrice on

Is Jessica promoting a new movie or something?

- Shannon on

Thank you! I’m so tired of see Jessica Alba. Shes on here more than any other celebrity and IMO, she not even that big of an actress. She always does supporting roles in B movie.

- Lacey on

i bet she’s having a boy!!!

- Jax on

Honor and Alison Hannigan’s daughter Satyana (as well as the Garner-Affleck kids) always seem to be happy, smiley kids – I love to see pictures of them instead of the mopey Suri Cruise.

- Cindy on

Here’s a hint, if you’re tired of seeing a celebrity, go on to the next post. Those who want to see the celebrity, can click on the post. That way everyone wins. Unless… you just like complaining.

- Me on

Me– the whole point of a discussion board is to allow people to comment and express their individual opinions – good, bad or indifferent. Just because some people are disinclined to gush and fawn over every celebrity, doesn’t mean they should be prevented from expressing their sentiments (within reason of course, but that’s why they have moderators to pre-approve the comments).

- cheryl on

Me,
It’s not a matter of just skipping the post… it’s that Jessica is on here every single day… sometimes twice a day. She’s taking up space that could be dedicated to other people.

I’ve got nothing against her… I just like variety. There are SO many other people out there I would like to see. This website sometimes gets stuck on tunnel vision, and it would be more interesting to see a broader representation.

I don’t like reading the same book over and over, and I also don’t like seeing the same thing on this blog everyday. There are hundreds, if not thousands of other celebs they could show. Plus it might give Jessica a break from the constant surveillance.

- fuzibuni on

Me – My first response didn’t make it through the filter for some reason (it wasn’t offensive, I promise), so I’ll try again.

The purpose of having a discussion board is to encourage people to comment and voice their opinions – good, bad and indifferent. People aren’t always going to agree with one another and not everyone wants to gush and fawn over every celebrity. In this case, there are people who are fed up with seeing Ms. Alba, particularly if there is nothing newsworthy or interesting to report. If things get out of hand, that’s why the moderators are here — comments are screened before they appear on the site.

- cheryl on

I dont mind Jessica Alba and dont mind seeing occasional photos but the amount thats been on here is ridiculous. I’ve had enough too.

- hannah on

i see where me is coming from, but i think i may agree with some of the other posters. it is taking up space other celebs could have also this story doesn’t seem that much different than the other posts of them in the past two or three days. it just seems redundant to me to keep reading the same thing about jessica and honor.

- anonymous on

Some of you act like Jessica and honor are the only two on the site. Skip the post and go to the next one. If you want more photos of other celebs take it up with the papz.

- Kellie on

Kellie- Very well said! Also, this is a site devoted to celebrity babies as well as pregnant celebs (and male celebs who’s wives/girlfriends are pregnant). Honor is a celebrity baby, Jessica is pregnant. Do we really expect them not to be on this site? Maybe I’m mis-understanding what people are saying, but it just seems silly to me to expect a celeb baby and a pregnant celeb NOT to be featured on a site about celeb babies and pregnant celebs!

Also, if they posted about Jessica and Honor less often, we might miss out on some really cute pictures of Honor. :)

Cindy- I don’t think that’s fair. Just because a kid doesn’t smile much doesn’t mean that said kid is mopey!

- CelebBabyLover on

good….

- bagus on

i love her style coz i dress similar and they can post her here every second and will never be bored plus her daughter is a mini fashionista and she s glowwwwwwwwwwwwwing

- nelle on

Jessica Alba is the new Jennifer Garner

- Lady on

Cindy, some kids don’t like the papparazzi, so they’re going to look upset in all their pictures. It doesn’t mean they are always in a bad mood.

- dsfg on

Celebbabylover — I think the comments from those with a different p.o.v. from yours were pretty clear and right to the point. And I think most of us would not lose any sleep if we “missed out” (as you put it) on seeing this actress on the site for a change.

Incidentally, most of us probably just take a quick peek at whoever is featured and move on to other more important things — like our kids, perhaps. Maybe you should go check on yours and stop spending so much time on the web.

- CN Tower on

CN Tower- I don’t have kids. :) All I was asking is why anyone would expect Jessica and Honor NOT to be on a site about Celebrity babies!

- CelebBabyLover on

Also, just for the record, the time I spend on CBB is actually a very small chunk of my day! :)

- CelebBabyLover on

CelebBabyLover– I am not going to belabour the point and engage in a debate with you. You don’t have children? That’s funny, because over the years, I could swear I read comments from you where you made reference to “grandchildren” and you often come across as being “older” for some reason. Maybe someone else was using your “name”.

- cn tower on

Celebbabylover, you sound like an angry old hen or a schoolteacher the way you scold and chastise people. Give it a rest. People come to the site to be entertained and sometimes, to comment.

- cn tower on

@celebritybabylover-Chill out!!! Please??

- Hillary on

Here we go again with the bullies! I think if you ladies learned how to be NICE you might actually feel better about yourselves! It makes me really sad to see grown women acting like middle school girls.

- dsfg on

I have followed Celebrity baby blog for years, since it was just a small blog run as a hobby project (and longer than most of you unless you have changes username regularly), so I know that Celebritybabylover has too. Over the years that I have seen her comments here she has never given the impression of being anything other than a fairly young woman without children, and has certainly never talked about her grandchildren. I am getting a bit tired of those who complain about her, because she is usually respectful and positive. If she likes to explain other people at times, so what, does it hurt you? If she misunderstands someones intentions they certainly have the chance to rebut her explanation. And if you don’t like her posts you don’t have to read them. There are plenty of comments I don’t read once I’ve seen the name of the commenter.

- MiB on

@MiB- I’ve read the blog on and off for 4 years — as a mom I’m interested in the tips and opinions that often come up (as well as the heated debates) and like most people, it’s fun reading up on the latest celeb news.

Although I don’t profess to know all the user names (I don’t usually comment and have used 2-3 names, depending on what computer I’m on) celebbabylover is one name I remember well. Without getting into all the specifics and giving numerous examples, I have to side with all the posters who have a problem with her. She presents herself as one who is older and wiser than everyone else and if she’s not scolding someone, she’s patronizing them for agreeing with her or voicing the same opinion.

I was also left with the impression that she was over child-rearing and had grandkids. No biggie if that’s not the case, but I’d hardly think it would be something to be ashamed about or flip-flop about — it’s the internet for G*d’s sake, no one cares and no one is going to find out the truth anyway. Unless you know her personally, you don’t really know anything about her, so let’s put it to rest.

- hailey-a on

I’ve lurked on this cite since 2007 and, I’ve never seen CBL say anything about being a grandma. Some of y’all are so mean. This is text and, everyone interprets it differently. I’ve never gotten that older/wiser tone from her posts. Just informed. So while it’s possible that what’s being said is valid, we should also consider that we’re putting a voice to what we read.
