Selma Blair Enjoying Her Pancakes This Pregnancy

No shoes? No job? No problem for Selma Blair.

“I’m unemployed, barefoot, and pregnant!” the actress joked with Access Hollywood at the premiere of Girls Talk.

Enjoying a “great” pregnancy, Blair — expecting her first child this summer with fashion designer and EVER founder Jason Bleick — has been spending her days indulging in her biggest craving yet: pancakes!

“I eat pancakes all day long. I don’t eat gluten, so I eat gluten-free pancakes. It’s a little better, but not much!” she says. “I have a lot of pancake cravings, a lot of grapefruit [cravings].”

And while she’s happy to divulge a few details about her pregnancy, Blair, 38, is keeping mum on whether the couple will be welcoming a son or daughter.

“I’m not going to say what [the sex] is yet,” she shares. “Hopefully, it’s one or the other. Who knows these days!”

Shannon- I doubt it, since she referred to the baby in the singular. We don’t know when in summer she’s due. She could be due in June, and that’s only three months away. She also may just be carrying big. Also, if it were twins, I think she’d have popped before now. But anyway, she looks great, and I love this comment of hers “Hopefully, it’s one or the other. Who knows these days!”

I think she looks great. I was huge like that too and people always asked if I was having twins! You never know how your body will be. I gained 20lbs with my first pregnancy and 23 with my 2nd…not much considering how HUGE my belly was. My kids weighed 5lbs 10oz and 6lbs 15oz!

@Ella, totally agree! I recently switched to being gluten and wheat free on a suspicion I’m gluten-intolerant and it’s always nice to read about a celeb that is also gluten free. The gluten-free market seems to be growing, so that’s great. I’m just happy I can still eat my fruity pebbles!

I have family members that have celiac disease and cannot eat gluten. Eating gluten free is not healthy! It actually is worse for you! You should only eat gluten free if you have too!
