Jessica Alba and daughter Honor Marie, 2½, stay shaded after lunch in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Friday.

“It’s definitely not as daunting,” the actress, 29, said of her second pregnancy.

“I popped earlier than I did with Honor because the second time around your body has the memory [of the first pregnancy]. Having the belly grow is fun and exciting.”

I sense sibling rivalry and tantrums on the horizon…Honor has been so spoiled in such a wonderful attentive way by Jessica and Cash…she will be in a rude awakening when the baby arrives…I was quite the jealous big sister…hope the transition goes smoothly but it is always interesting to see how the older sibling reacts to the new arrival

I think this pregnancy is making Jessica’a brain fuzzy lol. She’s usually so logical and matter of fact but some of the ridiculous stuff she’s been saying lately…..”your body has the memory of the first pregnancy”? What nonsense.

CBL – Quite honestly, you sound obsessed. You often make repeated posts wanting to know when a celebrity’s due whenever one announces her pregnancy or, in the case of this particular photo, saying that you can’t see a bump. I’ve noticed three or four posts of yours in a row claiming that you didn’t see a bump in any of the pregnant celebrities that were pictured. It sounds unhealthy. Does your life revolve around the pregnancies of women you’ve never met so very much? Maybe you’re just being playful, but judging by the comments of yours that I’ve already seen, it doesn’t seem like it.

cate- Don’t worry, my life does not revolve around celebs. In fact, reading and commenting on Moms & Babies is an extremely tiny fraction of my day. I’m just a very curious person by nature, so wanting to know due dates of celebs is just part of that (plus, I’m a HUGE baby lover- of all babies, not just celeb babies- so I tend to be extra curious about things regarding babies), as is the noticing when a celeb doesn’t have a bump. I probably should word the bump thing a bit more like how Mommy of 2 worded her post.
