We all know how important reading is to Jennifer Garner — she and her adorable daughters (Violet, 5, and Seraphina, 2) are always spotted out and about with books in hand.

So it’s no surprise the Emmy-nominated actress jumped at the chance to narrate Disney‘s “A Poem Is” video series.

Garner lent her voice to a Mother’s Song, a folk lullaby from the late 1800s that describes maternal love, which you and your child can view at disneyjunior.com.

But the mom-of-two isn’t the only celeb parent to participate. Katie Holmes also narrated Mice, a poem by Rose Fyleman.

And Whoopi Goldberg and Alfred Molina are the latest additions. You can watch their video shorts on Disney Junior TV channel all this week (check local listings for times). Or you can view them on Disney Junior’s Youtube channel.

Jennifer Garner is the best thing that ever happened to Ben and he knows it. Since he married THIS JENNIFER his career has soared, his acting is sublime and his talents as a writer, producer and director have become legendary. He is the new Clint Eastwood.

THE WORLD’S MOST BEAUTIFUL UPGRADE.

I am so happy to see her finally here on Celebrity baby blog. I haven’t seen her or her children on here in quite awhile. She hasn’t been in the cameras eye for quite some time now. Where has this beautiful family been as of lately? Just curious. I am glad to see her.

Wow, her hair looks so shiny in this picture. Wonder what she put in/on it…

I always loved about her then when ever you saw her with her girls she would always have books on hand. I think so many parents these day forget the importance of books, and what books can do for developing a child’s sense of play and imagination. A movie shows you a pepto bismol pink house with two window at the front and a white fence around. But a book tells you “there was a house that was kind of pink and it had windows like any other house and a fence too” it’s up to you to build that house in your mind the pick the colour of pink the colour of the fence and where do you want to put the widows. But that’s just me. And I read way to much

Wow, Dawn. The man isn’t even 40 yet and you’re calling him a living legend, comparing him to Clint Eastwood? Ben Affleck? Sure.

To Sandra:

The whole family were together in Atlanta where Jen is filming. They were spotted in Botanical Garden, Zoo Atlanta, Aquarium and Theatre. Sound they have a lot of fun! Glad no papz bother them there.

@Cammy: It looks like she recently dyed it. My hair always gets shinier when I dye it. :)

Jenniefr Lopez use her kids in fashion ads. Jennifer Garner narrates video series for children, cooks with them and just being great! She is trully a role model. What an amazing woman!

Dawn, what are you talking about — your comment is very strange.

@Sandra- The paps are fickle that way. Sometimes they pursue celebrities relentlessly and travel all over the place to track them down — e.g. Suri Cruise in Vancouver. Who knows why they are giving Jen Garner a break these days — it’s not like she went half-way around the world – but I’m sure she is grateful.
