Rachel Zoe: Pregnancy a ‘Wonderful, Drama-Free Time’

As fans of her reality show The Rachel Zoe Project know, the stylist isn’t one for sitting still. At 37 weeks pregnant, however, Rachel Zoe now finds herself in bed by 9:45 p.m., dozing off to Twilight.

That’s not to say she isn’t keeping busy — she dressed Anne Hathaway in multiple looks for her Oscar-hosting gig. But Zoe — who’s expecting a baby boy with husband Rodger Berman this month — did manage to skip Fashion Week in Paris and Milan in an attempt to slow down.

“I can say in all honesty that being pregnant, working with the kind of people I work with and being this businesswoman has been a really wonderful, drama-free time in my life,” Zoe, 39, tells The Hollywood Reporter.

That outfit is sooooooo ugly! She does look like a snake. Tacky. Someone should have told her, or with her common sense she should have known better. Horrible choice. Beautiful woman tho, she looks like a cross between Nicole Kidman and Kim Basinger.

oh my god yes, i agree. that is a HORRIBLE outfit. i have never understood the animal print stuff, to me it always looks tacky and trying too hard.

Maybe the reptilian hue is deliberate, considering the lush greenery in the background. In some cultures snakes are symbolic of new life/renewal, appropriate for someone expecting.

she looks so totally airbrushed in the pic. outfit not good but at least it shows that she has a real belly. in other pics you could not tell if she’d grown at all.

I have followed her show now for some time; and have always thought that she was too thin, almost gaunt looking. Since she has been pregnant, I say that she has never looked better & healhier. Congratulations Rachel and Rodger!

Jane D- I agree! Also, it probably wasn’t Rachel who chose the dress. From what I’ve read (including comments on this site!), for magazine photoshoot, it is the magazine that choses the model’s outfit. So if we’re going to be criticizing anyone for that outfit, it should be the The Hollywood Reporter, not Rachel!

That being said, I actually don’t mind the outfit that much. It’s the make-up that I don’t like. The lipstick in particular I think could have been a shade or two lighter.

I kind of love the outfit and the snake look (which I think was totally deliberate). Off course I would never wear something like this myself, but it looks kind of cool on the cover of a magazine.

I also find her eye colour fascinating and hope that the baby gets it too.

I think the reason why she hasn’t looked as pregnant as she is is because she’s carrying really low. Most bellies are either higher or sticking out more. Her’s is really quite low. She looks great!

Celebrity Baby Lover, A majority of magazines provide the celebrities with a selection of clothing for them to chose from and they get to chose what they wear from that. I have never heard of a celebrity being forced to wear an outfit. They all have contracts, so unless they have a really bad one there is no reason why they couldn’t refuse to wear something. So at the end of the day, if Rachel didn’t like this dress……she should have not wore it. To me, it seems like something she would want to wear.
