Mom-to-be Pink — who recently pointed out the irony that she’s the good girl of pop — tied a bow-tie over her belly while out in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
“Out of Myself, Britney and Christina — didn’t everyone think I was gonna be the troublemaker?” Pink, 31,Tweeted Tuesday after Christina Aguilera‘s arrest for public intoxication.
The singer, who emerged on the music scene around the same time as Aguilera and Britney Spears, finished the Tweet by saying, “LOOK MA!!! NO CUFFS!”

I think she is a good example of someone who has a good balance in her life. She is loud and crazy onstage, but lives a normal life offstage. I think she will be a great mom.

Her comment was unnecessary. There was no need to make a snide comment when someone is experiencing a problem. She would have come across much more classy if she had made a supportive statement or not have made any comment. If she hits a few bumps in the road, I do not believe she would welcome a comment like this.

I agree that Pink’s comment is a bit snarky, but Britney and Christina deserve it. And good for Pink for keeping it together and being so grounded throughout all these years!

In a time where girls like Lindsay,Britney and Christina get muuuuch more press for being the bad girls- I think it’s ok for a relativley “good” girl to point out that she is sucuessful and normal. E! News doesn’t cover that kind of stuff, now do they?

Oh please. Get over it. She’s not a snot. She’s real. And that’s what makes Pink so Authentic. She’s not trying to keep up with everyone else and falling for the hype like Christina and Britney did. They had no foundation. I love Pink and her rawness. If you can’t appreciate that comment, then you’re not a TRUE ‘Pink’ fan.

I don’t think that her comment was rude at all.
The 3 of them came out around the same time and were always compared to one another (Pink’s song Don’t Let Me Get Me, “tired of being compared to Britney Spears”). Britney and Christina came across as being the Disney good girls/positive role models and Pink came across as the bad girl/bad role model. I personally love that those 2 are complete train wreaks and Pink has come out on top.
Also, she looks so happy and absolutely gorgeous!

Emily- To be fair, Britney seems to have cleaned up quite a bit, and isn’t making that many headlines for being a “bad girl” lately. Other than that though, I agree with you.
As for Christina, I’m very dissapointed in her behavior lately, and I hope she gets it together soon for Max’s sake (speaking of which, although I don’t condone Christina’s actions, I’m glad for Max’s sake that Jordan apparently isn’t getting into a nasty public custody battle with her!)!.
Anyway, back on topic! I keep waiting for Pink to pop, but she still doesn’t have much of a bump. I wonder if she due later than we all think, or if she’s just carrying like Nicole Kidman did (very small)?

i totally agree. i would always have said that i would prefer my girls look up to Pink, a strong, ambitious and smart woman than britney or christina, the disney goody-girls. i like that Pink has always had political opinions and has stood up for things, that’s how i want my girls to be. not afraid to have opinions…

Beronica- I absoutely agree that if you don’t “get” her comment then you aren’t a true Pink fan anyway! I’ve loved her since she first came out on the scene. I would recommend watching her episode of VH1′s Behind The Music. It really shows another “shade of Pink” so to speak.
Also, she is so gorgeous pregnant! I’m really truely happy for her!

Congratulations to Pink. I can’t wait to see the pics. I think she is going to pop within the next month of two. Her belly may not get big like most but her breast are huge and face is starting to look really different, indicating that the time is near. I also think she is having a baby girl!!

I love Pink since day one ,(love the fact that we share a birthday) … and i totally agree with her she spoke her mind a lot back in the day and wasn’t liked for it ..those other two (britney and christina) were child stars and put on pedestals all of there little lives and had no type of foundation THAT is why they are spiraling or spiraled out of control ..parents think twice before u push your kids to be child stars ….that should have been her tweet ..

I love pink ever since “there you go” and, she has always been the better role model. I think she lived her life and made mistakes before she became famous, which is the difference between her and the other two; who were driven by two stagemoms from day one. Having said that, I like pink’s jacket but her head looks gigantic in this photo.

Pink looks very pretty. Pregnancy suits her. I didn’t like her comment and no, I’m not a ‘true’ Pink fan. I like that Christina made supportive comments about Britney when she went through a tough time and I hope that things start looking up for Christina as well.

I think the problem with all people today is we are so quick to judge, so quick to point out the flaws in others.
Yes pink is now a wonderful role model but back in the day before she was famous she has spoken about her drug use and heavy drinking at a very early age, the age britney and christina where being groomed as perfect, she got to do her growing up with out every one watching and judgeing , so to say yeah i want my daughter to be just like her…..right now as she is of course but as she used to be , not in a million years.
its funny britney doesn’t get the same credit for working hard to over come clear mental issues and getting happy and healthy.
I love pink i am a huge fan het of music and hope she had a happy and healthy baby , i just wonder god forbid if she was in the middle of a tough time and britney / christina tweetded something like that if it would been seen as funny or b**chy?

I really dont think there was anything wrong with her twitter comment. in all honesty a lot probably labeled her as the bad child but ended up pretty tame.

It took me years of trial and error to be able to hold my tongue, yet saying what I wanted was as easy as blinking. Anybody that wants to can speak their mind but not everybody can hold their tongue. I found her comment to be snarky. Being funny is okay when it’s not at the expense of being hurtful to someone else and about certain situations. Some things should not be said publicly or without tact.
I’m very disappointed as a fan by Christina’s actions but she’s going through a divorce and it’s just not her, she has a son. Even though it’s not healthy, maybe she drinks to cope, who knows but I can guarantee if Christina were to have said something like, “who wastes their time on making an ENTIRE album about a split from their husband, at the time when Pink and Carey were having problems and had split, all hell would have let loose”. She does look pretty though.

I like Pink, and have all of her albums. I also have all of Christina’s albums. I have Britney’s first single ‘Hit Me Baby One More Time”.
I don’t recall people badmouthing Pink during the pop music era of the 2000s. I remember she was thought of not really being a “pop” star, but I don’t recall her behavior ever being brought into question.
I remember Christina being trashed badly in comparison during Britney during her X-Tina days, then Britney fell on hard times with mental illness and drug use, and now Christina has fallen on hard times.
The one that stood out to me was Christina during Britney’s meltdown saying -
“Britney is a good person and a good mom. She’s been under so much pressure since she was a child. I don’t think any of us should judge her or jump to conclusions. She loves her boys (Sean Preston and Jayden James) and they’re turning out great.”
Classy…
Pink doesn’t know what tomorrow or life in general will bring for her or her child. It’s best not to revel in the misfortunes of others because you never know when you’ll fall on hard times or what life has in store for you.

Melanie and Toya…I completely agree with you. Your comments plus one other (Haley) are the only ones that made sense. I mean who laughs at the misfortunes of others? You would think, from a mom-to-be to another mom, a supportive comment would have been the right thing to say, or don’t say anything if you are not going to say something nice. Wow.

Bancie1031- I don’t think she’s ever said when she’s due. However, she announced the pregnancy in mid-November, so assuming she waited until she was about three months in to make the announcement (as many celebs seem to do), she’s probably around seven months now, giving her a May due date.
That being said, I don’t have a problem with Pink’s comment. It sounds to me like she was just joking around!

I also don’t have a problem with her comment, I think it’s funny and was meant to be funny. Nothing negative forwards Christina or Britney was meant, I’m sure.
Good luck to Pink, she’s looking great. Can’t wait to see what she has and the name she chooses ….. not to mention first glimpse of little pink

Oh come on. She didn’t say anything that bad. The other two got arrested/put in rehab, everybody knows it and saying it isn’t judging. Yeah, life is hard, blah blah blah – but it’s up to you to get a grip, and I doubt you’d all be so understanding of “normal” young women who have this type of behavior (especially if they have young kids).

Before she was famous she admitted she was the “wild child”. She had her drugs and the wrong crowd, hated her mother just like everyone else. She just had the fortune of not going through it in the public eye. Just like she got that out of her system, Britney has gotten over it and Christina will get over it.
Granted her comment was supposed to be funny ( I hope), It just seemed kinda like she was throwing shade. Although Pink has never liked Christina anyway….. But I guess people will do anything to bring publicity and attention to themselves.

@Nikki that’s the exact reason I thought she was being catty. I mean everybody knows that the two do not like each other. With a couple of Pink’s comments like: I’ve never liked her so there’s no feud” and “I don’t know if there’s ever been good blood” made me think that she was being catty but hey maybe she was just joking about someone she’s made it a well known fact that she doesn’t like. I wish them both the best!!

I also thought Pink’s comment was rather unnecessary. It might have been meant to be funny but I think it was also meant to be a jab at Christina. The people saying there’s nothing wrong with what she said are the same ones who would’ve been saying all kinds of nasty things about Christina if the roles were reversed and she was the one making these exact same comments about Pink.
I am not a fan of Christina, Pink, or Britney, but I’ve liked songs from all three girls and have seen two of them in concert way back when. I just think that when someone’s going through a tough time, whatever your feelings toward them, you should be the bigger person and be a little bit more sensitive about their situation.

Alice- Obviously I can’t speak for everyone, but if a “normal” woman in similar circumstances to Britney (having a mental illness) or Christina (going through a divorce), I’d be supportive of her, too.
I remember seeing pictures of Britney strapped to the gurney and of her sitting on a curb, holding her yorkie puppy (who, sadly, was probably about the only “person” in her life right then showing her any love or support) and crying and getting teary-eyed. I wanted more than anything to be able to scoop Britney up, give her a hug, and tell her that things were going to be okay, that there WERE people out there who cared, and that I hoped she would get some help and get better.
I feel similarly about Christina right now. Of course I don’t support their behavior, but I do support/supported them as fellow human beings who are/were going through a rough time. I hope Christina knows that there are people out there who care and are rooting for her to get help if neccesary and get better!

I’ve always been a Pink fan. I like Britney and Christina too. I don’t think people need to get all bent out of shape by Pink’s comment. She has always told it like it is and lets cut her some slack, she IS pregnant.
